Pac did duck him for a poorly rated fight with Bradley - which nobody wanted to see
and Floyd avoided Khan for a bum called Berto, which was another poorly rated fight
Khan (for all of his flaws) made business sense...Floyd always says "if it don't make business sense, it makes no cents", then fought Berto LOLLOL
A duck is a duck is a duck
At the end of the day Pac beat a top 10 P4P fighter, something Khan has never been in his life, and probably will never be. Only an upset win over Canelo puts him in the top 10 P4P list for the first time ever.
when the only guy who really ducked you was floyd you can't say you're one of boxing's most feared opponents.
his style is unique so that makes certain guys avoid it. that's about it.
Guys that avoided Khan: In that order
JMM
Bradley
DSG
Floyd Jr.
Manny
Cotto
thats because berto was beating the **** out of khan in spariing. confirmed by abner mares and andre ward
Link to both of them please.
I would love to hear Andre on the subject.
So I beg of you to please give the link.
FLoyd ducked him as blatantly as you can duck anyone.
The first time was was bad after the vote thing but the excusers thought they had an out with the Khan hasnt earnt it BS. Despite Khans overall resume being vastly superior to anyone else being considered.
The second time was just embarrassing and was definitive proof that Floyd was afraid to lose to Khan. The what has Khan done line just falls over when you fight a guy whos 3-3 in his last 6 fights, has no draw, doesn't have a single good win in ever and lost to Karass.
Then post that interview if you want anyone to believe you. I find it hard to believe Bradley saying that avoids Khan because he might lose to Khan lol.
2011 interview with Bradley where he admits he ducked Khan because it's too much of a risky fight for him and could derail his plans to fight Pac/May:
Timothy Bradley: "If I Lose To Amir Khan I'm Out Of the Mayweather / Pacquiao Sweepstakes"
Keep in mind this was after Khan was coming off the win of his career against Maidana. Bradley didn't have the punching power to exploit Khan's questionable chin, so he didn't see a way of winning the fight and ducked him.

They're obviously referring to Mayweather and Pacquiao opting not to face Khan for fill in the ________ reason. If you actually didn't know, OP. That's why the said that.
In an interview years ago, Bradley openly admitted that he ducked Khan. He said that a Khan fight could lead to a possible loss that would derail his plans for a Pacquiao fight.
Khan had been calling out Garcia for years, and Angel Garcia refused, until the WBC made Khan the mandatory. And the only reason Khan didn't take it is because of his much bigger superfight with Canelo, which is a much bigger gamble that he'd most likely lose.
Like I said, it was Garcia and Bradley that ducked Khan, not the other way around. They even admitted it themselves.

Nope. He ducked them.
When Floyd was WBC champ, all Khan taked about was being the Mando.
Garcia becomes WBC champ, Khan hasn't talked about it at all.
He is ducking Garcia.

And Khan had done what to earn a fight with either??? you posted both of the last fights of 2 ATG'S they had the right to pick whoever the hell they wanted to fight..thats not a duck at all
Flo.mos keep bringing up Khan's struggling with Diaz/Algieri and how he grts dropped so easily..........then tell us Floyd has earned the right to pick his opponent (Berto), so if he so sh.it why didnt Floyd fight him and get that stoppage win as 49 who also happens to have a name value for PPV? :lol1: So, yes Floyd ducked Khan to fight his sparring partner cuz he was a risk.
The really cringey bit is when they tried to paint Khan as some hero of the British public. This is the guy who got booed at Wembley during Froch-Groves II. Aside from that it wasn't too bad, just the usual promotional shpeel.
Him getting booed or being held to a higher standard than Brook or other British fighters has to do with factors outside of boxing. I mean I dont blame ppl given whats going on in the world.
For a British fighter he has win/lose taken a lot of wear n tear and been in tough fights. Khan will end his career on a higher note than Ricky Hatton and most def than Kell Brock.
Barely managed to get past Julio Diaz as well, this is why nobody cared about Mayweather-Khan. Even Stephen A. who doesn't know shit about boxing shitted on the possibility of it.
That Diaz arguably beat Porter right before fighting Khan :boxing:

And people wonder why some aren't lashing out at the mismatch, can't wait for Canelo to kill that noise.
Flo.mos are one traumatized demographic even though they admit Khan will lose it burns them Khan got a mega fights.

Khan was more deserving than Berto
Berto was coming off 3 losses in his last 6 fights, and was losing to Lopez on the cards. When you lose to a washed up journeyman like Soto Karass, you don't deserve anything
We all thought it was a joke/trolling when Floyd said his next opponent would be Mayfield or Berto.
Khan made financial sense and he'd won his last 5 fights. Also Floyd was the one throwing Khans names in Polls (which Khan won) and in interviews saying he'd fight Khan if he fights on my under-card
A duck is a duck, please stop making excuses for that wife beating thug.
Khan would have given Floyd a tough fight, but little Floyd rather take the easy route and fight Soto Karass leftovers
Khan had his chance to fight Brook in May 2015 and EARN a spot vs Mayweather in September.
What did he do? Stink the place out vs Algieri.
smh. He only has himself to blame.
Diaz didn't just drop him Larry, he put hands on Khan and made it close. That's downright embarrassing, let alone how horrible he looked against Algieri. I'll never understand Khan's sense of entitlement
I dont understand his fans agreeing with him, makes no sense at all. The guy hasnt done anything in years..i mean sure he beat Alexander ok win but when was the last time he even looked good? look at his last few fights
Algeri
Alexander
Collazo
Diaz
Molina
how can anyone be impressed with this run?
He should have instead fought a guy who had recently lost to Danny Garcia and was just dropped by Julio Diaz and struggled with Algeri

You guys are misunderstanding; there IS a fear of Khan...The fear that he'll get hit so hard by Canelo, that they won't be able to properly reconstruct his flipping glass jaw!
He should have instead fought a guy who had recently lost to Danny Garcia and was just dropped by Julio Diaz and struggled with Algeri
He lost to Garcia in 2012, and you'd have a point if Floyd chose Garcia over Khan, that would make sense.
Fact is losing to a undefeated Garcia, there is no shame in that, losing to a journeyman called Soto Karass coming off 100's of losses, that's when it's time to retire. Khan was coming off 5 wins, and Berto was coming of 3 losses in in 6 fights.
The fact you compare Garcia to Soto Karass just proves how desperate you are to defendt Cherrypicker Jr's choice of opponent in Bumto
And from what i heard Garcia didnt want to fight Floyd.
Larry your thug idol fought a guy who recently lost to Soto Karass, thats a duck
You can make excuses till you are blue in the face, but a duck is a duck.
Same rules apply, not matter if it is Floyd or Broner.
There is no reasonable explanation why someone would pick Berto over Khan, given Berto's recent track record which is full of losses, one to a subpar fighter in Soto Karass lololol
On top of that it made no financial and business sense
He should have instead fought a guy who had recently lost to Danny Garcia and was just dropped by Julio Diaz and struggled with Algeri
