I'll name a few:
Crawford: Saw him get hurt several times against Gamboa, and his chin hasn't been tested against bigger fighters yet. I personally don't think he lasts very long if he moves up to 147.
Kovalev: Still have questions about his durability.
Anthony Joshua: Very chinny indeed. Doesn't have the greatest defense either so if you put him in with a skilled puncher he's going to be in a world of trouble. Him vs. Wilder is literally 50/50, first one who lands wins.
Kovalev? Not that Pascal is a monster puncher, but he is far from feather fisted. If Kovalev had a chin problem we would of known in their first fight. Kovalev got caught with some huge shots in that fight. He may get stopped, but it will be a Stevenson or Beterbiev that does it and its not like you have to be chinny to get stopped by punchers like that.
No I haven't seen him wobbly?
He didn't wobble at all, you have made a great point of exaggerating it ever since it happened :lol1:
You're trying to tell me that Senchenko didn't rock Brook and his legs weren't wobbly?
You've seen him wobbly against Senchenko who can't punch.
Porter didn't land anything clean that's why. There's a reason Brook was holding a lot.

Canelo was rocked more than once by a a guy he outweighed by fifteen pounds (Floyd) and almost got dropped by the right hand that had Magic Johnson on his feet in the late rounds, a guy who couldn't even make a 152 catchweigh neither on the one day weigh in (150.5lb) or on fight night (150lbs) or even on the thirty day weigh in (150lbs).
He was also badly hurt and rocked by Kirkland.
Canelo don't got no solid chin. It aint weak either of course, but it aint solid, it will crack as soon as he fights someone his own size without draining or blowing em up, which I guess is like...never.
Kovalev has a suspect chin too, so does Povetkin (Kd four times by Klitschko, one of them via a freakin Jab).
Wilder's chin is suspect, not confirmed weak, but suspect.
Joshua's chin is solid.
Fury's chin is suspect.
Thurman? I don't think his chin is suspect, but I think his body is. Collazo hurt him badly.
Tim Bradly used to have a solid chin, but now it has become suspect after getting hurt badly by Vargas and getting KD by Pac after not getting KD in their two previous bouts.
Crawford's chin is not suspect in my opinion, it is plain weak. If a small guy like Gamboa can hurt him like he did in the later rounds of their fight, then all the welters can KO him. His offense is brilliant but his defense and chin is weak in my view.
Stevenson's chin is suspect.
Yeah that's it for now.
Good Assessment, I agree in all accounts.
He also took Porter 12 rounds without getting hurt at any stage in the fight.
Not saying his chin is granite, but if it was suspect I'm sure we would have seen him wobbly or down over the last couple of years.

Carson Jones.

Brook had been rocked a couple of times a few years ago but apparently the way he went about making weight then was awful and was draining himself to the point of being a zombie. He brought in new people since then to help make the weight properly and healthy and his stamina and everything else seems to have improved, so i'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that one as that might have been part of the reason.
Not quite sold on Thurman's chin or Crawford. I believe Kovalev could be hurt but it's finding someone who can hurt him before he hurts them, once they feel the power they might just go on the run and not try to engage. Not convinced by Joshua's or Wilder's either but it's heavyweight boxing where the best fighters can be knocked out by lesser fighters.

Please explain, the only fighter I saw hurt Joshua was Whyte and even then he wasn't off his feet or that badly hurt, lets not forget that Whyte is also known for having power.
Tyson Fury: has a suspect chin, getting dropped by a cruiserweight who is 6 inches smaller than him.
Andre Ward: He's been in with a lot of heavy hitters and in fairness he rarely gets caught cleanly these days but I still remember when Darnell Boone rocked him badly.
Wilder: Haye had him doing a chicken dance while sparring, seen him get clipped and wobbled a few times.
Yeah against a journeyman.
Whatever it was he was rocked by Senchenko that's all you need to know about a guys chin.
Senchenko was a former world champion? How is that a journeyman?
It was a right hand? Straight on the chin.
And it was hardly a 'booty dew' :lol1:
Imo, if anything we learned from the Carson Jones fight, it is that Brook can take a good punch. he was completely done after 7 rounds, had his nose broken, took some good punches every round and was still fighting back in round 12.
Yeah against a journeyman.

It wasn't even on the chin mate, it was a right hand to the temple. A temple shot can throw anyone off, but he had recovered 10 seconds later and knocked Senchenko out.
I've got no worries about his chin, a gassed Brook took plenty of shots to the chin against Jones and was never close to going down.
As far as dodgy chins, Bradley is joining that group at this stage. Stevenson and Crawford too. I'm not sure I'd list too many HW's given they can all be hurt due to the size of the opposition, even a good chin at HW won't always hold up.
Might be. Need to watch it back. Definitely wasn't a jab though. But I think a dodgy chin is when someone pats you and you do a chicken dance. Think Amir Khan or David Price.
Not worried about Brook's chin at all.
Bradley doesn't have a dodgy chin, it's just that maybe his punch resistance isn't the same as what it was.

I really disagree with you. These are two of the best chins in boxing. If GGG has never been hit hard in nearly 400 amateur fights and 34 pro fights including 16 middleweight title fights he must have incredible defensive skills. Canelo was not dropped but he was hurt by Cotto's brother. Cotto's brother is a damn good puncher and he caught Canelo with a hell of a punch and followed up with more very hard punches. Canelo was only a teenager and he weathered the storm and won by KO. Don't you think his chin might have improved over the last 6 or 7 years? Since then nobody including big punchers Mosley, Lara, Kirkland, Miguel Cotto and Angulo has ever even staggered Canelo. Big Cotto couldn't hurt him at all with his best punches. Don't you think Miguel Cotto hits harder than his "little brother".

Wilder and Crawford I think have suspect chins even though Crawford has never been down. I don't trust Wilder's chin at all. He has been matched very carefully overall. His next fight might test his chin. Joshua got hurt by a big puncher but he stayed on his feet. I think his chin is better than Wilder's chin. Brook's chin seems solid to me. I guess Khan's weak chin is not just suspect but proven weak.
