Wilder-Povetkin on Showtime.
Broner-Theophane on Spike.
Berto-Ortiz 2 on FOX.
Spence-Algieri on NBC.
Thurman-Porter on CBS.
Santa Cruz-Frampton TBD.
ESPN coming back in June.
FS1 & Bounce going regularly.
Situation looks nice!
I bet that in 2017, Haymon fighters will represent over 50% of all HBO cards.
At 95% of Showtime cards + 100% of PBC cards, Haymon would literally own 90% of all top level boxing events in the US.
Some good fights and some garbage that could turn out to be exciting....
HBO needs to stop pandering to their stars and just put together good fights...
GGG vs Jacobs
Crawford-Postal
Walters-Lomenchenko
GGG-Canelo
Kovalev-Ward
Those are all better fights then any listed here other then Thurman-Porter which I love...
HBO better get going in making some of these....
PBC about to release their summer schedule next week!
Exciting times for Team Haymon AND Boxing (since Haymon = 90% of US Boxing)

Your f.ucked
Obviously nothing will please you
I'm curious what fights are you looking forward too & what matchups would you actually not be a bitter lame about ?
Why even talk to people like that? They want to see this fail, it's not about the sport. Try talking to the boxing fans on this site, my friend.
You mean competitive fights with "names"? Like the ones people on here pretend people like Thurman are?
Then no. Because Haymon has a lot of "name" fighters that haven't done sh*t and are as overrated as Jeff Lacy.
Nice try with the HBO thing though, I call it like I see it. HBO has crap too, especially with Nelson on board.

Two prospects. I dont think much of Brook, imagine what I think about this fight.
122 is a terrible division, which both come from
Are you serious?
Bum fight. Paper title

Pointless fight

Its okay, I know its embarassing and you dont want to name their opponents, but you can say it.
Ashley Theophane and Patrick Hyland.
Call me when Haymon actually has any fighters worth a damn.

If he starts to make decent fights like these PBC/Showtime can be really interesting.
Previously besides some exceptions PBC/Sho was Headliner vs. Bum... (Adonis Stevenson fights, Broner vs. Alakhverdiev...)
agreed and it seems hbo is starting to take that model even tho they preach against it because of their budget.
Haymon groupies be trying to spin this sh*t like tops.
Theres like 2-3 forced mandatories that aren't even good and the other fights are complete trash.
If this is them flashing their hand then Haymon is in bigger trouble than I thought.
Your seriously going to complain about
Wilder / Povetkin
Mares / Cueller
Thurman/Porter
LSC/Frampton
With...
Ortiz/Berto
Martin/Joshua
Jack/Bute
Degeale / Medina
Ruslan/Molina
Broner
Gary Russell
In a span of 3 months. That's pretty good especially when you look at what HBo (including PPVs) is bringing to the table

Please name three competitive fights we have seen on HBO in the last two years. I will give you Cotto/Alvarez, so name two others that are better than the fights Haymon has offered through his PBC contests.
Wilder-Povetkin on Showtime.
Broner-Theophane on Spike.
Berto-Ortiz 2 on FOX.
Spence-Algieri on NBC.
Thurman-Porter on CBS.

It is better than anything HBO has offered fans in the last two years.

Broner/Theophane is not a big deal
Berto/Ortiz 2 sucks
Santa Cruz-Frampton is not finalized afaik
The other fights are happening and are definitely good tho.
The Spence fight is good. He's moving from a prospect to contender (no need to compare him to Pac). Algieri will be a tough fight.
Anybody know if Gervonta Davis is fighting on any of these cards (another prospect to contender)?
Think Davis is on the Broner / Theophane undercard but don't know if he's getting any TV time on Spike
On topic Boxings looking good from April - June thanks in large part to Haymon fighters
Haymon is still signing fighters. Is that the move a man running a sinking operation would make? The man has 450 mil to invest in his project. You really think he blew through that in 12 months?
Exactly... the summer will be on fire with Haymon shows while HBO waits for Ward-Kovalev in November. LOL
nah the purpose was to lose money

When chinny, overrated Khan fights Algieri, it's a garbage fight. When out of prime, almost retired Pacman fights Algieri, it's a garbage fight. When a young prime hungry lion Spence fights Algieri, it's a good fight.
Your really putting Spence on the same level of Manny and Khan?
Showtime bought all of those cards except Spence ALgieri and the Broner Theophane mismatch. Bounce doesn't have a card till May so since PBC is slowly dying and cutting their budgets it is good to see Showtime stepping up strong
Haymon's schedule is looking good!
