So first it was Anderson Silva on the radio talking about how Floyd doesn't take his fights serious. Then he gets ko'ed playing around and then gets his leg broken off.
Then we have Ronda Rousey talking about how she will beat Floyd up. How he isn't so tough. She gets knocked the f'k out and contemplates suicide.
Then we have McGregor. Won't keep Floyd's name out of his mouth. Just knocked the hell out because he was trying to box.
My question is do you think the corse is real? Get to the top of the UFC and if you mention and talk **** about Floyd, are you guaranteed to lose?
A guy stepped up 25 pounds past where he should be and got beat the **** up. That's the reality of fighting. Much respect to him for having the balls but he proved that a bigger stronger guy is just better in real life.
He got whooped fighting a guy that fights one weight class above him. Not a guy that's 25lbs heavier and fights at 170. The fight took place at that weight because like Conor said, he chose it. That's on him. Props to Diaz for taking a fight in less than two weeks and making your opponent your biţch in the process
I don't know about "Curse" but people who trash him sure haven't been doing well as of late. Khan will probably be next :nonono:
bingo. looks like the Mayweather curse isnt just for MMA fighters. Khan was talking mad chit about floyd.
it's like the EA Sports curse, once you mention his name, like being on the game cover, you lose...
so I was a fighter, i'd leave Mayweathers name out my mouth... at least not calling him out, because those who call him out, can't even get to him, haha.
LOL! I was looking for a thread about Rousey & McGregor flapping there gums about Mayweather while they were preparing for fights. I was thinking Mayweather still beating people without throwing a punch... Then I came across this thread... brilliant! there is a curse & I love it! I don't even like Mayweather as a boxer but I'm sure hoping more MMgay fighters bring up his name... UFC fighters should learn to:tapedshut
I've taken sh*ts that weigh more than a measly half pound easily. I could understand if Mayweather was drained on the scales and barely made weight and then mysteriously lost weight the following day but that wasn't the case.
Mayweather looked pretty comfortable on the scales in the Canelo fight and reportedly had been eating up to the weigh in (was even bragging about eating pizza just days before weigh in in an interview).
It's really not the phenomenon you're making it out to be. Oscar De La Hoya has said that in his fight with Pacquiao he tried to rehydrate and gain weight for the fight but his body was rejecting fluids and he ended up weighing LESS than Pac on fight night.

A jr middleweight coming in less than a feather/lightweight moving up to 147? These unofficial weights are far more concerning than any Floyd fight.
This Maxi guy really has nothing to contribute other than what he wants us to believe. He seems to be ignoring that Floyd has for his whole career stayed around fight weight. He can act like that's crazy or maybe just deny that the media has covered that fact repeatedly. But his reason is because no official number is given. He hates Floyd so that will automatically feed into what he wants to believe. I still believe he has probably never even watched any portion of his career.
Actually you are the idiot, and your reputation is evidence of that. the fact that you still didn't realize is not my business. You are extremely idiotish. You are fool enough to believe floyd weighed 150 fight night vs Canelo when he weighed in 150.5 the day before... only a stupid person would believe that

you missed Castillo outweighed him....147148 fight night for their fights
Gatti weighed more than he did, Corely and Bruseles were natural junior welters....140 was floyds 3rd divison....in his lightweight fights on fight night he weighed below 140.
Hatton turned pro at 140 and fought his entire career at junior ww or higher...floyd started at 130 and only had 6 fights over the 135 limit before he fought Hatton....Hatton wasbigger and in his prime
Maidana and Canelo were 15 pounds heavier than him fight night
but you are the idiot screaming "why should GGG move up?" but wont acknowledge that Floyd fought bigger fighters

Yeah, and I also realize that Mayweather was smart enough to never fight an opponent bigger than him. At 130, or 147, he always fought smaller people, rare exceptions like Corrales. Mayweather outgrown divisions, he never moved up except when he fought Cotto (shorter, short reach) or shot ODLH.

lol Made the same thread in the MMA section, theyre two different sports, but the one thing all of these MMA guys arent giving floyd his due is how hard it is to stay on top for 18+ years. He comes in shape every single time, he never underestimates his opponents.
Mayweather is never going to fight them in MMA, but they all just proved they are no where near the athlete and ATG that mayweather is.
With the IV situation, that's kind of hard to convince people now. Fortunately, that's something none of them having going on their careers.
hell even manny's (whose career reputation is being the small man) record fight night weight is heavier than Floyd's
Yet when they actually fought, Floyd's fight night weight was never revealed for some reason.
Add manny to that list as well for talking like JMM is nothing and then getting the lights taken away on fight night.
I don't think anybody was expecting Marquez's newfound power.
You don't answer anything. What are you doing here? why don't you stick to masturbation watching ebonys videos? that's what you do better it seems. Thinking is not for you.
Oh yeah, I gets it in. But if you take a look at all of his fights, you'd realize he was smaller than a lot of his opponents. Dude is a small welterweight and always has been. The only thing you have is your guess of Floyd's fight weights.

I'll concede. Silva did call out Roy Jones. And Ronda did say some **** about Ali and Anne Wolfe. But they both laughed her off. As fas as the coverage of Floyd tho, it's more on ESPN than this site. First Take literally covers every bit of it. Maybe the media is to share the blame. But it won't stop these folks at the top from running with it. Just find it strange that he has never spoken ill of these people and they run it around the clock.
Please give me this list of boxers that are called out by people in other sports? They call everyone out but this mother****er has 100 sound bites about doing harm to Floyd when he has never brought dude up. He was talking about ripping his banner off the side of the mgm. For what? Because he's obsessed, just like Ronda with her garbage ass. I blame the ultimate L taker for this ****. He was the one who put the batteries in this idiot Dana White's back. Gave Ronda the cover of Ring ****ing Magazine! Oscar "2 lines and a shot" De la Hoya

Boxing doesn't have reach divisions. Based on your logic Marvin Hagler is bigger than Mike Tyson based on reach.
If you think I'm going to waste any more time explaining why you're wrong and your level of ignorance, you're mistaken.
Yeah right. Like reach and Height play no role in a boxing fight, right? only weight. Ok buddy.
Every time you comment, it's making me believe more and more that you've never really seen Floyd fight. Are you getting all your info from here?
You don't answer anything. What are you doing here? why don't you stick to masturbation watching ebonys videos? that's what you do better it seems. Thinking is not for you.
Where do you get anything of that from what he just said. Oh wait you're an idiot triple g fan.
Ohh lool I see where your attitude is derived from LMAO!
Your comprehension skills are inadequate to see that my comment was a simple joke.
Since I have a pic of GGG as my Avi you have an automatic hate response to me despite the FACT that I showed you none. That's called being a prejudice!
And for the record I'm a realist when it comes to being a fan especially when it comes to GGG.
So don't resort to calling me the "idiot" when you may actually be one yourself!
