Since the whole Khan Canelo thing has been signed the butt hurt gone through the roof as if their messiah was the only way Khan could get a big fight and that its not funny anymore that Floyd passed (ducked) Khan for his sparring partner and they cant act as some sort of an authority "oh he has to earn it doe" "gotta fight a puncher doe".
See I just don't see the Brook fight happening after he loses this one, most likely by vicious KO. If it did happen public interest would have dropped massively
Not even sure that would be a PPV fight in that scenario tbh. Not unless Khan has time for another rebuild period. This is also relying on Brook not losing, he will surely have to fight some top WW's now Khan is off the table, and I dont have him a clear favourite over the likes of Thurman, Garcia, Porter, Bradley or any of those types. No guarantee he stays undefeated
Yeah that's a good point.
Me as a fan would much rather see Khan vs Brook and you're right we've seen enough times now that striking while the iron is hot is the best idea.
It really depends how Khan looks, if he does well then it can still happen. If he gets starched in 3 rounds then maybe not.
I think it will be PPV regardless though. No matter what happens the British public will pay to see Khan Brook especially with the and blood. Even if both get knocked out this year.
But if Khan loses to Canelo, Brook's still on the table. Less of the pie that he'd get now but still a big piece, say about 5 or so million.
If he somehow beats Canelo he's get a huge chunk.
If he were to fight Brook now and lose, Canelo's off the table and everything else is off the table really.
So I think fighting Canelo was a much better idea. Like I said if he loses to Canelo Brook is still there. He'll make more losing to Canelo and then fighting Brook than he would just fighting Brook.
Obviously If he fights Brooks now and beats Brook then he'd make more money but I don't think Khan wants to take that risk. Especially considering Canelo may not be on the table this time next year.

I'm not sure about that. Brook was a much more winnable and would have brought him a heck of a lot of money.
Cotto got $10 mill for fighting Canelo or something IIRC... Khan isnt getting as much Cotto surely? He could have got around that amount fighting Brook. £6mill at least was looking likely for Khan to fight Brook.

Khan doesn't deserve a shot at the Middleweight title.
But, Khan's money, as is Canelo.
So if the offer was there I can't blame either for taking the fight. The game is, was, always has been motivated by money.
From Khan's standpoint taking Thai fight was an absolute no brainer. It's Canelo who's got everything to lose. Khan has nothing to lose. Other than his health :lol1:

Or maybe theyre upset that the lineal middleweight champion is defending his title at 155 against a guy who hasnt even done chit at welterweight.
That would be a valid reason to be pissed off at Canelo not at Khan, Khan was deserving of having a big fight at 147 but both Floyd and Pacquiao turned him down.
aaaand he does it once again :lol1:
I absolute cringe at the helplessness being experienced by the TMT crowd who acted like some sort of an authority as to who deserves what steps Khan must take to get Mayweather and who always felt it was hilarious Khan was left hanging by their idol.
Floyd fans aren't the only ones sh.itting on this fight, yet I only picked you lot, cuz I know the insecurity is running deep. The slim possibility if Khan pulls this off gives you people night mares. So you mirroring my accusations of butt hurt, anger and projection have no leg to stand on.
Your post has damage control written all over it. Initially I was just a parrot repeating what everyone was saying. Yet you keep coming back. What is it now? 3 posts in this thread?
You know the name Kell Brook? Right ? Like I'm seriosuly nto having a go but this is hypocritical to say the least no?
I am an admitted fan of both Brook and Mayweather and not Khan despite his amazing speed(which is something I love) he is just to straight up and robotic for me but regardless I really don't think anyone is mad at Khan for fighting Canelo...Actually there was like 10 threads the day the fight was announced talking about how good this was for boxing and how Khan was making everyone look like a *****... And he did..Khan deserves credit for fighting Canelo..
But..are we gonna ignore that Khan has only wanted to fight Manny and Floyd over the last few years obviously for a payday? Are we gonna ignore that he was Garcia's mandatory and could have fought Brook whenever he wants..that's two WW titles with a chance to unify all the belts in the near future. Forget money and who he likes and all that bull****...He had the chance to plot a path to being undisputed WW champ.
Does that take away fromt he risk of fighting Canelo? No, but it makes you question the reasoning why he's doing it...Does he want to be MW champion and beat GGG and BJS to unify the division, or does he want a 8 figure payday?
Anyway, Amir Khan has been one of the most privileged fighters in boxing history, I don't think anyone should feel bad for him.
Ah, but the lack of respect from folks such as myself is what burns under your skin. It's what prompted you to create this thread and nurture it like a junkie child; you know nothing you do will help but you feel you must at least try. The fact that you project your frustration on others by taking your symptoms (butthurt, anger, the need to keep coming back to the thread) and accusing others of suffering them is amusing to me. Amusing enough to keep getting you wound up. You're not here for amusement though, it's just insecurity as a fan. I'll just let you be now so go ahead with the last word.

Keep projecting. You obviously feel the need to keep coming back and give your thoughts.
oh and going back to your previous point, Khan is jumping up 2 weights despite having easier options (comparatively) on the table, so you giving him "respect" is irrelevant.

Who gets to decide who deserves what? Floyd/PBC fantards? Of course let's just pretend he didn't beat Alexander 12-0.
Khan was willing to leave his comfort zone and go two weights despite Brook willing to bend over and give in to his demands, a relatively easier fight, so the fact he was letting go of an easier option & more money trumps whatever rubric the TMT crowd uses to determine who should get what?
If this was another WW with a name and they accepted the call it wouldn't matter if they had done something of note recently simply cuz of the enormity of the task they're willing to accept. I guess you wouldn't even need this reasoning if this was a brotha getting a shot.
Him making excuses about weight and trainers makes him a sore loser, not delusional. I mean you got to give me something better than that.
Did Pac have any business going up 2 weights vs Oscar or JMM vs Mayweather (aah)? History is made by doing things ppl deem impossible.
I mean just look at your username, you obviously aren't butt hurt, nopeee.
Jesus Christ. Not even gonna respond to all this garbage lol. Yup PAC-Floyd-jmm-...khan. Lol legends!
It's likely Khan would have either beaten Floyd or at least given him the hardest fight of his career at this point, so Floyd avoided him. Now we see some of these guys trying to discredit Khan in order to attempt to rewrite the history of Floyd ducking him.
So it's ok for Floyd to duck Khan and fight someone Khan already beat, and to fight him twice (Maidana).. lol.. It's ok to finally accept the Pacquiao fight, only after Pac was devastatingly KOd by Marquez and out cold for 5 mins.. It's ok for Floyd to fight D-level Andre Berto who was beaten by Robert Guerrero - someone Floyd already beat himself.. lol... Really?
I mean come on fellas, you're not fooling anyone anymore, you need to give it up because you're embarrassing yourselves. It's hugely transparent at this point.
Now I'm a Floyd fan too, have been since 2007 De La Hoya fight (which should have been a Draw), but we got to keep it real. Styles make fights and Floyd ducked Khan repeatedly for a reason.
Some of us are willing to admit the reality of the situation and the others want to try to disseminate their own alternate and distorted perspective which they feel most comfortable with because it fits their Floyd-centric world view.
Well you're a huge fan so you look at it from a diff perspective. The guy makes excuses for everything. Pretends like no one wants to fight him. And yea he hadn't done jack at 147 besides chase manny and Floyd. Just cause he got the canelo fight doesn't mean he deserved it (hint he didn't). So yea very delusional
