So where's Uchiyama toughest 7 fight streak? I'd like to compare do you really want to compare a long time champ in Uchiyama to Loma? And which top rated champ did Russell smash? He's 28 and a 2 weight world champion. He is doing just fine, Gary Russell may prove to be a very good win if Russell keeps achieving good things. Everyone expected him to beat Martinez and he did just that, but he did it emphatically. He has a belt now and that is important when it comes to negotiations, lets see who steps up to the plate, to be fair when it comes it Lomachenko I think that is part of the problem. Who is willing to fight him.

Most fighters in his weight class haven't fought more than a couple good fighters. He is doing fine. He also isn't scared to fight in a higher weight class. Not sure what the argument about not fighting live bodies is. His career is progressing well.

Russell was also a world class amateur, was prospect of the year 3 fight prior, and now is probably #1 at FW, having demolished the wbc champ. That's a very good win, don't play dumb. A 7 fight streak including Salido, Russell, Rocky is very good for any Fw, nevermind a pro novice. Uchiyama was consensus #1at 130till recent, some had him him p4p. Give me his best 7 fight streak Rocky just went neck and neck vs Salido for 24 rounds, did about the same as Vargas. Who the fcuk do you think is elite in these weight classes? Loma was not a prospect. YOu keep talking without an context. Loma had a long enough and extensive enough amateur career to jump into the pro game at world level. Russel hadn't even fought at world level. There's a difference here. And even if you wana label them both as prospects, your argument still fails cos loma still beat a prospect for a so called world title. And yes, he beat Martinez, that's good but Martinez is near enough shot and nowhere near the fighter he was when Burns beat him. I applaud the Martinez fight more than the Russell fight though but Loma needs to carry on fighting better opponents. Point out the ones who didn't also have terrible fighters on their resume. I didn't think you were actually attempting to compare his first 6 fights with their entire body of work.Actually he have like 5 or 6 fights in wsb, where he was faced with better competition than the one he is facing now, excluding salido and Russell, those fights count as an experience, no headgear, 4 and 3 minutes rounds, smaller gloves than we they used in the amateurs and the body punch counts, so why no one is mentioning his fights at wsb which were under professional rules, is beyond my understanding, I know the ranking alphabet soups don't count them, but we all know he did fought under pro-rules...

his next two opponents are almost guaranteed to be salido and berchelt. decent fights but hopefully the gaps between them aren't too long
