So what are you saying, that the opinion of bookies is not that relevant and GGG vs Wade is actually the more competitive fight?
Clarify your opinion please.
How did Chino vs Floyd play out? Maidana was more a under-dog than Rios was against Pac but odds don't tell the story and are a lazy way of analyzing fights. I predicted Floyd would struggle and predicted what Maidana would do including out boxing him in spots.

This is exactly what I'm saying. The odds being so close is the effect of two famous fighters fighting each other.
Golovkin is fighting a guy from his own division, Canelo is not.
And I'm not saying this fight is more competitive, I'm saying it doesn't matter.
Bookies DKSAB and bringing up their opinion on these fights is kind of desperate and pathetic.
But if you and Isaac actually do trust their judgement, please, put your money where your mouths are and bet on Khan. :lol1:
Las Vegas thrives thanks to fools like you two :lol1:

Everyone has trouble with Sam Soliman, regardless of his age, so Wade having problems wasn't some kind of shock.
Golovkin isn't going to put Wade out with one shot; 'Canelo' Alvarez can put Khan away with one shot.
If I had to bet money, I'd put money on Wade lasting longer than Khan (depending on what the odds end up looking like, I may even end up putting some money on Wade to win; Wade is the bigger man, Wade is the faster man, and Wade matches Golovkin on straight boxing skills)
So I assume then you'll be giving GGG lots of credit for beating this man who you believe to be a talented and criminally underrated opponent?
That's the best answer yet. Assuming this is the trend among several bookies not just one of them.
Every bookie has Khan-Canelo as a much more competitive fight than Golovkin-Wade.

That is very much true but I think the bookies are wildly overestimating Khan's chances of winning.
I don't like that he had trouble with the very old Sam Soliman.
Do you think Khan will last longer in his fight than Wade will in his?

I honestly have neither seen nor heard of Dominic Wade before. How good is he?
To me he looked like Martin Murray with hand speed. Doesn't move around a lot and fights behind his high guard. He's tailor made for GGG but he's not a tomato can.
Neither are going to be competitive. But Wade is a much closer playing field than Khan facing a MW. He was getting dropped at 140. As much as I like the fight, I only like it because I know it'll end in a KO for Khan.
Wade is walking into his fight with Golovkin having a 4" reach advantage on his end. He doesn't seem willing to move his feet as much as I'd like to see, but it's not like he can't box.
Willie Monroe Jr went 6; why shouldn't Wade be expected to go longer then that?

Both fights are slaughters ending in KO. GGG usually lets his opponents last a few rounds for the entertainment of the fans before he goes for and quickly gets the KO. I am guessing he will let Wade hang around until he puts him away in round 5. Canelo will want to KO Khan as quickly as possible so I pick Canelo by KO in round 2. I voted Wade would put up a slightly better fight than Khan but neither of them will win a single round or last more than 5 rounds.
Will Wade make it past 3?

Watching Wade fights on youtube. I gotta say i'm not that impressed. He is 5"11 but doesn't really use his height and reach advantage. I think GGG will have no problem getting inside on him.
Edit: man he squares up a lot
Id be willing to take a bet that Wade lasts more rounds than Khan does.
Khan is gonna be doin the booty dew EARLY
I wouldn't discard canelo carrying the fight to the mid rounds just to display his skills set, so many "boxing analysts" talking about khan and his skills to trouble canelo, the kid has big ego ...
I believe that the fight ends the moment canelo decides...
