Yea...I love the slick guys with good offense
super tough question. on my list i really only have duran, ali, gatti, louis, and frazier as stone cold locks. and evander holyfield :cool2:
i've watched basically every gatti fight on youtube in the last month or so, and he might be at the top. maybe it's because he died young, but i really think he's the most exciting boxer of all time. he is the perfect storm of an action fighter. vulnerable, great recuperative powers, hellish power with both hands, great on the eyes, and he bled all over the place. the drawback with gatti is that he's not an all time great, and he really shouldn't be in the hall of fame based on the accomplishments. he's there because of how he made people feel when he fought, and i get it. watching him fight is a moving experience. it's like looking at a great piece of art. it's moving.

Beautiful! These are likely to change on a whim but my initial stream of consciousness spewed forth this eclectic cast if characters:
Carlos Monzon - Estadio Luna Park
Joe Louis - Madison Square Garden
Tony Sibson - Wembley Arena
Sugar Ray Robinson - Polo Grounds
Ted 'Kid' Lewis - Premierland Whitechapel
Jack Johnson - Reno Nevada
Michael Murray - Stockport Town Hall
Rocky Marciano - Yankee Stadium
Tom Cribb - Shennington Hollow Oxfordshire
John H. Stracey - Royal Albert Hall
Like I said Iv'e not consciously vetted these other than to resist a strong bizzare urge to throw Otis Grant in there! A journeyman boxer in a tin pot town made the list though so I guess anything goes.
hmmmm.
are you 10 years old?
I have never been to vegas. I only order PPV the first prime vs prime fight i saw live was the mosley margarito here in Staples LA.
10 fighters to actually view at ringside, good question!
Mine would probably be:
Muhammad Ali
Ray Robinson
Ray Leonard
Mike Tyson in the late 80s
Chris Eubank
Naseem Hamed
Willie Pep (I'd build a time machine just for the fights with Saddler)
Manny Pacquiao, especially with his run from 2003 to 2009/10
Evander Holyfield
Rocky Balboa
hmmmm.

If you could witness 10 boxers in their prime in ringside who would it be? | BoxingScene Community
