WTF @ Garcia's "power"

So? You're argument was Garcia never fought a guy in his prime with speed and a guy in his prime with power. And I gave you two names who were under those two categories. Now the argument is, he was getting beat before something occurred? Look, it's Danny Garcia. If you watch any of his fights, you will learn that he will always get busted up. Especially in the early rounds. I expect that from Danny Garcia. I like his vulnerabilities. I like the fact that he's not the fastest guy, or the strongest guy. His ability is his timing. So yeah, he's going to get his ass whooped for the first couple rounds but eventually, he will figure out the timing. He's a good basic fighter who is not super great in any one category but good in all categories. That's what I like about Danny and that's what makes him and Khan different. Khan has super great speed. Danny has a little bit of everything. It's pure tears and emotion, zero logic whatsoever, always an excuse lmao.

Likewise, before the "phantom punch" that swelled up Matts' eye, Danny was getting lit up......and no desire for a rematch of that fight either. Guerrero has a great chin but Garcia's power is good not great. Everybody's power looks great against a powderpuff like Khan.

That massive right hand shook Guerrero to the core...how he stayed standing, i don't know. that's what i saw. guerrero took that shot like a man.

Garcia landed a fair number of bombs and Guerrero walked through everything, yeah Guerrero is tough, but he is a blown up featherweight. He doesn't last 12 with a true power puncher landing those types of shots. Nobody 5'8 1/2 who walks around at like 175 is a blown up featherweight, Guerrero just isn't genetically the type of who who gets a 6 pack from training.

His perfect punch is the left hook to the neck. The problem is finding guys with vulnerable necks.

I feel his power is overrated somewhat. I also don't imagine it will carry up as well in this division.

Paulie and Guerrero have good chins. They never been laid out cold. Also after the knockdowns Guerrero gets up and continues trying to win. Don't know where the TS is going with this argument. Indeed when a fighter goes up in weight their power most of the time is not as effective

I'm shocked Thurman never stopped him. Then again Thurman went 12 with Bundu. I forgot about that fight. I think Thurman hits a bit harder than Garcia, but to me his power is also over rated. Bundu is a tough dude, as is Guerrero. It would be hard to imagine Guerrero lasting 12 with De La Hoya, Mosely or Trinidad at 147.

Is he even going to hurt anyone at a world level other than Khan and Salsa? It's becoming a joke now. Even Floyd had people hurt late in his career, but Garcia couldn't even hurt Paulie of all people. Thurman and Aron ****ing Martinez had Guerrero on the floor but this overrated power guy can't even get a stumble or anything out of him. One Time, Special One, and the new motivated Desert Storm all retire this overhyped bum via TKO. Garcias body shots definitely hurt and slowed down Guerrero. Does he still have the power that he had at 140? I don't know, it will take him time to grow into the division.

His power has always been somewhat overrated. Khan is easy to hurt and very slow to recover. He knocked down Matthysse because Matthysse couldn't see many of the punches with his damaged eye. He KO percentage is just over half which isn't bad but the big punchers are usually 70 percent or better. He failed to knock down Peterson, Herrera or Guerrero and his power seems no better than average at 147.
