Garcia is a problem for 147.
And LOL he destroys crawford and Brook for that matter.
He wont destroy anyone, he might beat them but he isnt destroying anyone at 147.
People have been saying this since 2012
Personally I think he's a bad style for most in that division.
Garcia is good, I just see him having problems against the young guns of the division.
He looked okay against Paulie, Guerrero gave him problems.
Both are pretty much done at the top (both came into fight with Garcia after looking the worst of their careers) and Danny didn't look as good as he should given the facts at hand.
Time will tell if he will do good at 147.
Brook, Thurman, and Garcia are all the same size (height and reach are all the same, though, with Brook and Thurman being career welterweights, Garcia is likely a touch smaller, physically, than them), Danny Garcia is scarily effective fighting from his shell, and his style works best when he's got an opponent who brings the fight to him, creating openings for him to 'catch and fire' his own heavy shots.
Shocking how many folks don't seem to understand what Danny Garcia brings to the table and how that compares to his current contemporaries at 147/140, lol.
Garcia for all his success is still quite underrated. He may seem 'basic' on the outside, but he is not in that ring when fighters face him. They really don't understand, even with all the success, what he brings to the table. They are still claiming he is not good, which is comedy.
I forgot about brook. shiz crawford and postol at 140 mop the floor with him. it just pisses Me off that he's walking around with at belt when there's at least ten guys in his divison that will kick his ass.
lol
please tell me of these 10 fighters in the welterweight division, who "kick Danny Garcia's ass", just for conversation's sake.
Someone very soon is going to take full advantage of how predictable Garcia's combinations are. Thurman or Brook definitely would IMO.

You know that fight ain't happening. Bradley is heading towards fighting Vargas in a rematch. Unless he beats Pacquiao, good luck on that. :lol1:
He'd destroy Garcia, no one is worried the outcome of that.
I like Danny but let's be honest. Porter,Thurman,Manny, bradley all beat him at147. Its time for the pbc to cash out on his name give him to Thurman
The only fighter that you've mentioned that befuddles Danny, at this point anyway, is Tim Bradley (and that's only because Bradley, like Herrera, is comfortable boxing off of the backfoot); Danny is a live fighter in every other bout at 147.
If Garcia fights Thurman next, the odds on that fight are going to be inside +/-300.
After Bradley beats Pac, beating Garcia would cement him in the BHOF for sure!!!!

Yeah, he will get beat within the next year.
He doesn't have the power to beat too many fighters at 147.
Guerrero was doing good early, but as seen by Martinez getting dominated by a up and comer, Guerrero is too small for 147.
Thurman would mop the floor with him, so we won't see that fight.
Garcia vs Khan will be very interesting, if Khan's chin holds up, he wins.

Haters say this all the time, yet he keeps on winning, people were adamant he'd get airlifted out of the arena after the Matthysse fight, yet he won again, people claimed Khan would make easy work out of him, yet he sent Khan to Neptune...
People have an illogical, emotionally driven disdain for him.
but I thought he won 7 to 5 tonight. he's a decent fighter at 147. just no where near the best. the dudes at the boxing voice prolly busted in there gym shorts when he was crowned tonight
