Starts around ~5min, says Ward moved up to avoid Golovkin and that he won't actually fight Kovalev. Talks about how Ward beat him & Kessler with his clinching and how that won't work against Kovalev.
You forgot the most obvious.
Its already a fact that Ward ducked GGG when the fight was offered to him by HBO in late 2013. He passed on the fight, probably because too much risk at that time? Anyway, GGG fought Curtis Stevens and Ward fought Rodriguez and then Ward retired basically. Since then he was never able to make 168 again.
Why do you think Ward never made a move when GGG was available to fight and he only made that hoax offer when GGG had signed for a PPV and was mandatory for Canelo/Cotto? Because Ward knew GGG cant pass on the Canelo showdown and has to say no, so Ward can fool the public and claim GGG doesnt want it.
It worked out for some people without common sense, the rest gladly knows whats up.
Anyway Ward couldnt make 168 for almost 3 years now. He had a year time to train and make 168 but he couldnt, he fought at 172.
I'm not sure of the exact time line of Ward's various contract disputes but I'm pretty sure he was in the process of taking Goosen back to court before and after the Rodrigues fight. It's reasonable to believe that Ward and Goosen's crumbling relationship contributed to the GGG fight not taking place.
Maybe Ward is more at fault for the fight not happening due to his bad business decisions, I just don't think the term "duck" applies in this situation.
Me either which is why the theory of Ward ducking to GGG to fight Kovalev makes zero sense. I would expect something like that on a boxing forum but to hear that allegation from another professional fighter seems strange.

Serious answer.
No.

Ward isn't even relevant, don't even know why anyone speaks about him anymore.
He won't fulfill his deal to fight Kovolov.
For Christ sake he demanded his last fight be vs a guy who couldn't even get sanctioned in Vegas. God is disappointed in this coward.
I think It's time to Froch to get over this loss.
Not only that, Froch's guilt feelings from himself avoiding G to the 3rd are compelling him to project his shame onto his daddy, S.O.G.
GGG is starting to bring money to the table if Saunders was offered 2 mil dollars. However Ward actually would fight GGG at 168 and beat him.
Golovkin won't agree to 168 for Ward.
Which, to me anyways, makes his insistence upon 160 for Canelo a little hypocritical.
coWard owned and exposed again as the scared nobody that he is. :lol1: :lol1: Exposed by another coward as well LOL!! Everybody is afraid of Gennady and they are ll pointing each other out lol.
Ward was too big for 168 but didn't really want to move up to 175 so he tried a quick sucker shot at a GGG fight but it didn't work. Now he is trying feverishly to avoid the Kovalev fight.....it'll be 3 or 4 years before he is ready for that fight going by Ward's history.
Kovalev-Ward won't happen.
No he didn't Froch. Ward is at 175lbs because he can no longer make 168lbs comfortably. Last time I checked, GGG offered Ward a catch weight of 164lbs. If he was SERIOUS about fighting the king of 168lbs, he would've said let's fight at 168lbs. So, how did Ward duck GGG????? If that's the case, GGG is ducking Canelo at 155lbs. He can make 154lbs for Floyd but not 155lbs for Canelo? You morons need to educate yourselves and be fair. It's too much fanboyism going 'round. It's 2016. Ward beats GGG's ass at any weight. Why??? Because he is too BIG, too fast, and too smart. Who do you think GGG is??????????? He obviously wasn't as confident as you Froch. He must've watched your fight with Ward and said 164lbs or no fight. LoL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ward is too smart? A 5th grade education in Oakland is not all that.
Froch has always been a boner but now he's resorting to stating facts that EVERYONE already knows just to appear intelligent. Froch: "The sky is blue, Taxes suck, Ward is ducking Golovkin, Being rich is awesome"
Serious question, do you think GGG is capable of beating Kovalev at 175lbs?
