Probably too much of a risk for Cotto, he loses again and he loses some of his drawing power. Cotto fought well against a bigger opponent, he's still very marketable. Another win and he's right back there again. So strategically probably not going to entice Cotto right now.
Exactly. .Cotto fought well ..landed good punches to da head he just couldn't hurt the heavy Canelo..Canelo only landed abt 30 more punches...if Cotto does a rematch he'll probably ask Canelo for a rehydration clause off 170..which I don't see Canelo accepting...but expect Canelo to vacate da belt in a few days..he'll probably fight a Jr MW at 155
Here we go again. A poster with the brain of a flea. There is no need for a rematch. Canelo is probably NOT knocking out a top opponent, even at a catch weight. Cotto wouldn't be dumb enough to be a sacrificial lamb because Canelo refuses to respect the sport and actually become great. He's getting all the accolades like he's outclassed and whooped guys in the prime...HARDLY!
I can see it now canelo-cotto 2 in may nelo knocks him out in the 9th and gives the world the bhop look after his fight with pavlik...
Canelo doesn't have the power to KO Cotto. .he barely hurt him..it wasn't till da 12th that Cotto looked hurt n that was more of taking punches throughout da fight..Canelo power is overrated just like his 1 dimensional skills..by him figthing small Jr MW at 155 he will never get TKO or ko..Canelo is a super MW fighting small boxers at 155..as soon as he starts moving up in weight n fight fighters his size Canelo will get KO TKO just like Chávez jr bc they're 1 dimensional..they lack skills..Cotto landed good punches on Canelo he just couldn't hurt him..at 160 Canelo won't be able to take those same punches vs a fighter his size..so expect Canelo to vacate in a few days.
Because Cotto is the hardest boxer to do business with in the world. It took Canelo forever to get Cotto in the ring and he had to give Cotto whatever he wanted. Cotto only fights about once a year. If he tried to rematch Cotto it would be the same all over again. Cotto would insist he is the A side. Cotto would put the fight off until about September and he would want most of the money and he would probably want the fight to be at 152.Canelo got the Cotto win and the prestige that goes with it. Canelo can get lots of good fights for good money without putting up with Cotto's BS.

Trust me they're definitely thinking about it.
Plenty of people were not happy with Canelo's performance. Cotto despite losing put up a good fight, and it sold something like 900K PPV's. A rematch on Cinco de Mayo is not out of the question.
I feel like Canelo showed a little to much respect for Cotto and he probably would ko him in a rematch he would let his hands go a little more now that he's allready been in the ring with Cotto.
