And don't say move to 168. Good stiff jab? Lateral movement? Get his respect early?
Gotta beat Gi Gi using that boring, constant clinching style of Klitschko, Postol and Ward. Movers like Floyd probably can't get away cuz Gi Gi cuts off the ring very good.
Jab, clinch, jab, clinch, jab, clinch, jab, clinch, hook, hold for 20 seconds, clinch right after ref breaks the clinch followed by another clinch to follow up that last clinch.
What if Andre Ward puts GGG to sleep the same way Marquez turned Pac's life inside out?!
Andre Ward has never done that to anybody lol
This type of dumb sh*t is why no one takes you seriously.
You have to be able to get inside, push him back, and keep him constantly resetting. Mix up range so he never develops a rhythm. You also have to be just as sharp defensively as he is offensively.
It will take a great fighter to beat Golovkin, make no mistake. It's not as simple as executing some blueprint.

Ive said it for a while now, you have to beat him center ring. You have to do to him like Whittaker did to Chavez. Stand in front of him and make him miss, I know it sounds easier said than done but its how you have to do it. Monroe had a little success doing it, but Monroes not an elite fighter, Ward imo is the only one that can but that fights never going to happen so the only other person that can do it is Canelo but Canelo needs to do a massive amount of squats in order for him not pushed into GGG's range. Angles are key but if you can keep him from pushing you back with equal strength & head movement, he can be beat on the inside. His jab can also be countered by a quick left or short right uppercut but the fighter needs to have good athletic reflexes...
Ward would clinch non stop.
But I don't think 3G is even clinchable. Nobody can't even come near. Probably why Ward didn't get serious about making the fight happen.
Here's the blueprint. Just stay busy all rounds and move, use the ring. Lemieux's reach is his disadvantage. His advantage is body shot crosses. The same failed body shot attempts in which Matthysse never attempted on Postol. The accuracy margin is higher for shorter dudes if the cross is provided.
spamming your video will not make people give any more ****s about it
Accuracy in combinations, agility to move in any direction and have good durability.
GGG isn't unbeatable he's just hard to beat, because he has a good technical foundation behind his impressive intangibles
very interesting to see how that guy giving him fits does things Floyd is great at: stick & move + countering an aggressive fighter that will run in
Here I was thinking gennady's style is pain in azz for Floyd
This is amateur boxing though. That headgear makes a difference. Plus, the fact that you are trying to score any punches you can, and not necessarily go for a KO. KO's are harder to come by, and plus, you have less time in the amateur division to go for them. Not to mention, knockdown's don't have the same value as they do obviously in the professionals.
Also: Gaydarbekov was 6'0", 73" reach, and weighs more than Floyd (obviously). Taller + better reach is a significant advantage in the amateurs since every punch is scored the same. Golovkin did well the first half of the fight, considering he was in the lead. Definitely bombed out the 3rd round, though.
Not to mention, Gaydarbekov was a fantastic amateur boxer. It's a shame he never went professional. He beat Jermain Taylor, Jeff Lacy, Zolt Erdei, Gennady Golovkin, N'Dam, etc...
Don't know what his amateur record was, but I'm sure it was damn impressive.
Watch the amateur final and that russian knew how to counter the "golovkin style"
is that pretty, nope, but its damn effective.
and obviously the guy needs to be alot bigger than GGG.
Oh the clinch... ****ing clinch I hate it.
From what I seen of him inside is his weakest distance. IDK if he can fight in reverse gear.
I would also add consecutive jabbing and clinching. David, who is a piss poor jabber, would occassionally reset gennady with double and triple jabs
Yeah, GGG has no idea what he's doing on the inside lol:

You have to be black and slick "sarcasm"
Beg for him to come up to a weight division above the one he is currently at and if that doesn't work beg for him to fight the next guy at the weight division above the one he moved to and so on til he loses.

He is an offensive minded fighter so one would have to mitigate his offense, or have a better offense than him but the first option would be much more likely since his strength is pretty strong.
A taller rangier guy with a great jab and solid movement.
A bull with inside fighting ability and a willingness to muck of the fight. With enough toughness and ability to make it through no mans land.
An otherworldly defense with great reflexes.
Not just any dude with a solid defense would get the job done, they have to be something more.
