CHRIS EUBANK SR has backed his son Chris Jr to take out IBF super-middleweight champion James DeGale should the two ever cross paths.
Eubank Jr, 26, has hinted in the past that he’s open to moving into DeGale’s weight class once he cleans up his own division.
A potential fight against ‘Chunky’, 29, is currently nothing more than a distant thought as Eubank Jr has only just claimed interim WBA middleweight title.

Eubanks attitude is his biggest problem, similar with Broner, there's a handful of trainers that are suitable to their style and could improve them but their attitude towards their coach will always hold them back. It's fine to be arrogant in boxing, some of the best were but they didn't f*ck around when it comes to training.
And I can't see him beating Degale either.
Your son lost to a pikey in BJS and now he 'destroys' Golovkin and GeFail?
Both beat your retarded son into retirement.
Are people still running with that one?
Jr blows. He's all athleticism and posing.
Like bruh just stop it. We know you're the son of the legend. Get your own shyt and stop trying to imitate pops.
As a fan of Eubank Jr I'd like to see him fight any of the big names, however you'd be crazy to favour an unproven fighter like Chris Eubank Jr over Degale etc.
You lost to BJS so talk about having the potential to beat him someday if you get a rematch should be the first priority. Potential to beat BJS being the operative word.
But Degale is a step too far right now, so would even Groves. Actually groves is in the habit of losing right now, so that might be 50-50.
But NIcky Blackwell would be a good opponent for his next fight.
If I was a millionaire I would personally put up the money to see Degale or GGG fight Eubank Jr.
I'd sit myself front row centre with a big old bucket of popcorn and enjoy the beatdown
What's the big deal with turning your punch over? Isn't that boxing 101 stuff?
For somebody who got beaten a year ago by BJS, who is in no way an elite fighter, they sure are shooting their team-mouth a lot.
That said, as long as Booth is allowed to work without interference then we should see a sharp spike in performance in the next 4-5 fights.
