I respect DHL, he fought anyone at anytime. He beat Tito, close loss to Mosely and beat him in the rematch IMO. I actually believe he was underrated, the only true prime loss was against BHOP because he was not a middleweight, against GGG he would be destroyed.
I'm gggs biggest critic, but IMO the answer is no. Too much size & weight advantage for ggg.
He's a small MW, you pretending he is big for a particular reason?
De La Hoya loses this fight for more than the sake of just ODLH not being a MW fighter he loses because GGG would make his work look ineffective that and he'd be picking away at him, I'm sure Oscar could take his punch but for how long... I'd say 8-10 tops because Oscar will go out on his shield unlike some.
at 160.....thoughts?
P4P oscar was the better boxer and is not even close, but since GGG cant fight below MW i think at 160 he is too big for oscar, just like hopkins was, if GGG drops 154 or under then Oscar was too much for him...
Imo thats a 50 50 fight.
Oscar has the speed footwork and style to beat GGG
Respectable power.
His jab and left hook would most certainly keep GGG respectable.oscar has tremendous experience as well.
Oscar even has a 1 inch height advantage and the reach advantage.
Where GGG would trouble oscar is his big left hook to the body and his stiff hammer jab and his ring cutting skills to go with his power. I think oscar wins this 7-5
But GGG can touch that liver at any point after the 9th round.
Great fight imo.
I don't think so. DLH at his best was a welterweight and even if they met in the middle, DLH was never the best defensively and he'd either get caught and stopped at some point or he'd get caught enough to lose a decision.
