Has chris algeiri improved?

Going into the Pac fight, Algieiri was an untested bum that had never fought at WW and who got the fight because he beat Provo in a close fight-Provo is one of the over rated power/brawlers NSB constantly over rates because he fights tough in losses. He would likely KO ALgieiri. Algieiri doing well against Khan was because Khan is another NSB guy that is getting overrated. In his case he is getting the Manny, Margs, PWill etc. "didn't fight Floyd" bump. Khna has talent and some good wins but also has shown a weak chin and an inability to look good when it really matters. Like I said earlier hating Floyd is fine, but when you elevate a 20-2 over 30yr old ex kickboxer with no amateur experience, who won a JWW title over Provo over Berto, a 2 time WW champ who has wins at WW even at his diminished capacity, then it gets a little too much. And yes, I think Floyd is lying and this isn't going to be his last fight. He isn't rated at all on this forum. They picked Collazo to stop him. Also Algieri WAS tested. He pulled Upset of the Year with one eye shut, so if that's not a test then tell me what is? His 0 amateur pedigree ON TOP of the fact he had only 19 pro fights for someone who hadn't boxed amateur makes it all so sweet. However, I do agree Mayweather is scrutinized more than Pacquiao who can fight guys coming off losses or 0 WW fights and it's all good.

Algieri turned to boxing in his 20s and in 20 fights was a World champion. You have guys like Rios or Brook with good amateur pedigrees taking forever. This isn't the Flyweights either. So, he is one heck of a talent. How many people you know are two sport World champions? People just don't want to look past the "out of the cage" joke. Chris got this far with a McDojo trainer, but now he has a proper boxing coach who knows how to utilize whatever he has for potential and allocate it properly, which he did. Yes, he improved, duhh.

Chris has improved tremendously but the Khan fight also took the prime years out of him. I'd be very doubtful we will see him that strong or hungry again. It was a once in a lifetime performance against an elite-level fighter.

i dunno if he IMPROVED from Ruslan -> Pac -> Khan it was more of a change in style... hard to say if he actually improved.. but as far as i can tell, his punching power is still ****, since he landed overhand rights flush on khan's domino chin but didnt drop him lol. without power, using that kinda style, i cant imagine him going very far lol. it was definitely a lot more exciting to watch though, and who knows if hes sticking with the style, or if that was just the plan against khan.

He was 2 time WW champ by beating names that don't exactly signify excellence, and he's lost to a handful of not that great fighters in recent years. Add in the fact that he's been fighting once a year lately in addition to his unimpressive performances in wins against low level competition. This isn't even about Algieri being good so much as it is about Andre Berto being incredibly underwhelming as of late - I wouldn't exactly be stunned if he lost to Bundu, Jo Jo Dan or Frankie Gavin right now. Prime Berto beats Algieri probably, but he's just not that Berto anymore.

unfortunately manny's fans are mostly trolls, manny algieri was a joke, and on fight night it was proved why. i still believe berto shouldn't be fighting floyd, i mean, he is getting paid handsomely for nothing. he should have gone with porter imo, easy style for floyd and the guy actually deserves it more than berto. he just did what chino did, defeated broner.
