What do you guys think? It's an exciting main event if you like knockouts and Gonzalez-Viloria before them is a good appetizer.
I'm predicting upwards of 250k buys.
400k plus is my vote
I'm with you. Several people who marginally follow boxing have asked me about this fight. Definitely not saying they would be buying it but personally, I will and it seems to me that there is an interest in this fight amongst casual viewers.
Think 300k is about the ceiling for this one.
I'm not a hater, so if it blows my expectations out of the water so be it and good for GGG or Lemieux, should he pull off the upset.
I'm buying it.
Depends how hard they advertise it. For the sake of boxing, I hope it does well, even though I have little interest in it and don't think it's competitive. Assuming they promote it well, I'm hoping for 350k but expect 250~ish.
Just seems to me like there is a lot of interest right now :dunno::dunno:.
Ain't gonna do no Canelo-Cotto numbers though.
Of course not but canelo didn't even do 400k on his own
Yes, I count 1,064,000.
Canelo did 2.2 million in his debut on PPV... why this matters though, I have no clue. Who cares what someone's debut was. If GGG has meaningful fights and wins, he'll become a draw.

Maybe he meant total :lol1::lol1::lol1:
I think 100k is what the budget is for based on purses that's about 3 million after cable gets their cut. 250k would be huge I think... My guess is somewhere in the middle. 150-200k would be my guess.
Floyd sold 1M PPVs before the De La Dildo fight.

I think 250-300k would have everyone involved dancing in the street. With a good push from HBO and the cable providers I think 350k is not out of the question......
You think more people rather see golovkin over canelo?
Just seems to me like there is a lot of interest right now :dunno::dunno:.
