TBH I read 'salka-like' as the matchup (i.e an extreme cherry pick), not Salka himself. Salka was brought up two divisions, the matchup was one of the worst we'll ever see
Anyone with the nickname "Fat Dan' should never criticize boxers or any athlete for that matter. Especially when its not a fun nickname
I don't think that's his nick name we just call him thst. We should start calling him porky
This is what fans, pundits and the boxing writers need to understand...Boxers are gladiators who risk their lives to put food on the table for their kids...criticism is one thing but mocking boxers is pretty low...that's just my opinion.
i think alot of poeple would agree to that man you are exactly right bout that
I think fighters need to start asking rude pundits to step in the ring with them for a couple rounds of sparring.
Tbf I don't think the fat cunt could fit through the ropes.
You do that all the time, too, bundle everyone you act like a tough guy with into some stereotype you want to pretend "internet nerds" fit so you can act superior and tough.
You won't ever find anything where I cried about fighters getting criticized too much because one was hurt. Anywhere. I'm not a fake advocate of fighters like you who tries to act like I'm a better fan by posting about how other people shouldn't criticize fighters.
Your probably right.
You'd know better than me how I post given the fact you live on here.
You keep on slagging fighters off and il keep on acting tough on here pal.
Maybe one day after a few more thousand posts il be confident enough to laugh at professional boxers and call them bums and cowards.
Hard work and dedication is needed though, I'm a bum poster at the moment.
You Floyd brah.
And you always post slagging off fighters then cry about how fighters get criticised too much when one of them gets hurt.
WHo the hell said we should accept garbage fights?
I said the matchmakers may aswell make em coz of cunts like yourself.

Get over yourself. The only internet nerds are the ones like you who acts like a tough guy that's better than other people and uses the word nerd. You always post like you are some representative of the boxing world who thinks no one should ever talk trash about fighters and you play the tough guy role.
Boxing doesn't need fans who accept garbage fights.

No you need to stop treating fighters in the regards that they can't get criticism, you've got to be aware of that as a professional in any sport!
Its like me saying well I bet that footballer could score more goals than you, so how dare you say anything about him.
The fact is we as fans, paying fans we have every single right to call out the bull**** when we see it as for mocking Salka etc yeah I'm not in favour of that but some take things to far and that happens in not just boxing but every other sport.
No fans or no consumers = No pay
Critics need to exist otherwise we as the ones paying will continue to be mugged off by pathetic mismatches like Danny Garcia Vs Rod Salka, do you want that?
The matchup was godawful no doubt, I'm a fan of the sport too I don't wanna be seeing Garcia- Salka type fights.
I just don't like how Salka has become a internet joke but whatever, I've been on the internet long enough to know it is what it is.
And regarding your question, fair enough, but the criticism should completely be on Garcias part. He's the champ.
Salka is just a boxer who was handed a shot at a world title, any pro boxer on the planet would jump at that.
Fair enough Garcia got his fair share but he's a star of the sport it's a minor issue to him, Bit unfair for Salka to become a running joke based on that but whatever, internet gonna internet.
The whole Salka joke thing is as stale as people making fun of Froch's 80 k at Wembley.
Good on Salka for standing up for himself. He did what any fighter in his position in the boxing world trying to come up the hard way would do i.e. accept the Garcia bout.
They're the Heskey and Bentner jokes of boxing.

Ahhh...we got all us "nerds" then we have you, the internet bully...man, virtual life is just like real life....
Nah brah, I'm a certified nerd myself now.
Just not on that level of nerdness but I'm sure il get there myself soon enough.
