Danny Garcia's cardinal sin

Danny's cardinal sin is fighting down to the level of his opponent every time. Its like he gets sleepy in the ring.

Though I don't dislike Garcia, what bothers me about him is the fact that he seems so damn beatable. He seems incapable of giving off this aura of dominance that top fighters tend to have, as he does nothing especially well. He reminds me of Bradley in that sense, but he just finds a way to keep winning. I'm intrigued to see how long he can stay undefeated, and what it will take to defeat him. Also, I just don't find him all that entertaining. He throws punches like a brawler, but has the composure and output of a counter-puncher. Your post mirrors my exact feeling about Garcia, I never thought he does anything special, he doesn't have that aura like you talk about as well but he does his thing and wins, i can't blame him for that lol.

He beat Lucas Matthyse. The same guys they made gif and sig about how Garcia and his daddy were ducking, going to duck etc Even when the fight was signed they announced Garcia obituary and wonder if he was going to turn up, they even wonder how angel would react if his son turned up, would he watch his son take a beating? would he throw in the towel? they didnt think for one minute that Garcia had a chance, if you give Garcia a chance like myself and some other did at the time, you would get instant abuse about how Garcia only beat a china chinny Khan and old ancient Morales.

People don't like Danny Garcia for the same reason nobody likes LarryXXX..he's a fa*ggot.

He is hated because he beat one of this forums mythical monsters in Mattyshee..plain and simple. ^^^^this Matthyesse was supposed to be the monster who finally battered Floyd, he was supposed to brutalize Danny Garcia on Floyd's undercard, and then finally give Floyd the comeuppance that people have been hoping for. Danny derailed all of that.

This is the kind of ignorance that plagues this forum and drags us down as a whole. He doesn't dress like a gay parade, he dresses like he's IN a gay parade. One man couldn't be a whole parade unto himself. He'd certainly qualify as a participant though. ^^^^^ bwahahahahahahaha Garcia is not a guy where I would be like "ooh, I really want to watch him fight" he's more like "uh, is he going to barely win?" Judah nearly gave him a run in the late rounds and Judah was supposed to be done in his career by then. Herrera beat him in Puerto Rico which was supposed to be a fight to introduce Garcia to the fans there...he was slated to be the guy that the Puerto Ricans could attach to like Trinidad and Cotto, but he lost the fight and got the decision. The Peterson fight was another one where he got the decision, but this one is not as significant as the Herrera fight.

Nothing that Danny did last night impressed me (I even lost points in pick'em on Malignaggi getting knocked down - think about that one). I think his slow looping punches will get him in trouble against any of the top 5 in the division. He hasn't been impressive since the Matthyse fight, where he was down early on the scorecards and was well on his way to losing the fight if Mathysse hadn't suffered a freak eye injury.

Garcia is a talented fighter but there are a lot of good reasons to not like him, most of which have been stated in this thread.

Its because he keeps getting gift decisions and runs off without giving rematches he could of ended all the backlash if he rematched herrera and actually beat him like did matthysse.and also for that horrible cherry pick fight against salka.I used to like danny he made me some money when I bet on him to beat matthysse but after the herrera fight and everything that happened after I was no longer a fan.

A lot of people have hated him after the Matthysse fight. I haven't ever liked Garcia though. There's also the fact that he's with Haymon.

Porter fights in a completely different style from Garcia and moved down from Middle weight Garcia moved up in weight.
