So Dan Rafael recently reported this and apparently Stephen Espinosa is negotiating it. Maybe Al Haymon is fed up of About Biscuits. Who do you think wins?
I can see Provodnikov smashing him pillar to post with the pressure and Broner's low output as no one has an easy time with Ruslan. Or I can see it being Bull vs Matador and Broner winning a decision. Who you got and how does it play out?
Rumours are October 3rd so rivalling Matthysse-Postol (damn it)! Great fight and hopefully it'll be on before the HBO card so I won't have to record it.
Also, Brandon Rios reportedly may face Tim Bradley. I've seen bits and bobs fly around from a few guys/sources.
What's next up for Broner?
Dan Rafael, King Fight Freak (12:12 PM)
I have heard that there is a possibility of a Novemberish fight with Provodnikov, who I am told is in discussions for a deal at Showtime. It's possible that fight could kick off a deal if a deal is made. We'll see.
Broner has shown in his two losses that he can't handle a two fisted puncher who attacks him relentlessly every minute of every round. Provo has no mercy and an over developed killer instinct. He also has an iron jaw and Broner can't hurt him. Provo will go all out for the KO and I believe he will get it. Provo wins by KO.
All jokes aside, this is a very bad fight for ab. What the faak? They want kid to end up like JT??
These young fighters are, in spite of the opinions of many of you fuks, taking on a lot of very real challenges early on and consistently. The ones who are able to hang, God bless them, but the ones who just have more heart and maybe some that have disfavor like ab .... could end up real bad.
Ruslan is going to slaughter Broner :lol1:
Feel sorry for him to be honest. He's getting thrown to the wolves for being a jack ass. He is PBC's sacrificial lamb. No one else is allowed hard match ups except for Berto clone.
Prov would ****ing maul broner. Unless broner Knocks prov out with one punch he isn't winning.
You have to be able to move and throw a lot of punches to stop prov's forward momentum. Broner does not have those skills. Prov would be on his ass all night.
i'm kinda suprised so many people think provodnikov will get the KO, even though Maidana couldn't. broner has been more on the safety first side since that fight as well. he isn't the slick boxer people make him out to be. he will struggle and get beat up by provo. he isn't skilled enough to outbox the relentless siberian. ruslan by UD but no way can i see a stoppage here.
I think Provo is a heavier puncher than Maidana. I don't think a stoppage is out of the question if he can engage Broner on the inside effectively.
Broner's only chance in this fight is to box the best fight of his life, keep Provo on the outside and have a respectable punch output. I don't think he can handle that.
Provo finally gets a big win, and Broner likely catches a severe beating.
Good fight, if Broner fights scared like he did against Porter he will get beat again. If Broner tries to beat Provodnikov to the punch and actually use his offensive abilities he could give Provodnikov's facial tissue all it could handle.
I think Broner will likely fight scared (or end up fighting scared) though and Provodnikov is tough unlikely to be detered by Broner's firepower.
Provodnikov has better form than Maidana. That could be the difference. I don't think he wins by KO. Broner has never been KOd, he deserves that much.
provod has better form. provod might hit harder.
but maidana has higher ko rate.
Maidana just seems naturally heavy handed and just because someone hits harder doesn't mean they'll get the KO. e.g. Judah said Matthysse hit harder than Cotto or Tzuyu
exactly. timing and angles are just as important as power if not more.
that said, provods better form = more predictable than maidanas awkward shots yeah? less chance of gettting stopped lol.
i dont know where people get the idea that provod is gonna knock broner out lol.

Hymen must be tired of Broner and is ready to cash him out. Provo will smash Broner to pieces and stop him in brutal fashion.the left hook is going to be the end of him. KO in 4 rds.
so you all think provodnikov hits harder than maidana? lololol.
maidana couldnt ko broner, but provod gonna do the job right? hahaha
