“Gavin is class BUT yes I saw it going the same way - be aggressive, attack the body and break him down!!!” Says Van Heerden. So clearly there would have been a game plan if the fight had come off, and one that Brook was clinical in exploiting. So is the opportunity to fight Frankie Gavin one that would still appeal to the South African? “Gavin belongs at 140lbs not 147lbs. The Gavin boat has passed FOR NOW but who knows we might still meet down the line!!! I WANT TO FIGHT IN UK!!!”
“Now being ranked number eight by IBF puts me ever closer to getting a shot at Brook that's what I really want!!!”

Oh I wonder where that article got its information from. Khan started the rumour and the Khantard worshippers spread it like wildfire lol.....like I said you probably sent out another mass Khantard PM to make sure the message got out.
That article calls Khan a ducker and an excuse maker, so it wasn't a pro-Khan piece. You seem to have a hard time trusting thaboxingvoice, but it would be okay if this was another eddie-kug ifl video. "Things changed quickly".
OK and? Rios wasn't going to be an IBF mandatory. You're losing it again.
He popped in at #13 after 4 months of absence doing jack sh1t and was in negotiations for a voluntary against Brook. When did I say he was going to be? Dork Dumbler reaching for strawman fallacies, as usual.
The Rios point was a demonstration of how serious are the rankings. Oh and Van Heerden is #8. I mean there is also Fredrick Lawson and Kevin Bizier at 6 and 7 respectively. "Things changed quickly".
Eddie Hearn just confirmed on his latest IFLTV interview that Van heerden and Bundu will not be the opponents of Kell Brook and his opponent will be announced by the end of next week. I think he is going to fight Devon Alexander in the UK. That's my bet.
He's already confirmed it before. Khantards are clinging to anything they can get at the moment.

This is true. Rios would have done more for Brook's profile but Chaves is actually a tougher fight
Stylistically Chaves will probably be tougher than Rios for Brook, Rios is made to measure for a fighter like Brook just ambling forward taking shots, Chaves by contrast has more to his game than Rios and won't just be a slow moving punching bag. Chaves is also a good measuring stick, he was fighting Thurman on pretty even terms for 8 rounds, similar story in the Rios fight until the bull**** disqualification and he drew with Bradley which I personally thought was reasonable despite all the claims of a robbery.
Out of the apparently thin list of possible opponents I think Chaves is the one that would give Brook the biggest test. Brook-Chaves is as good a fight as the Rio fight would have been, Rios just has more of a 'name' than Chaves.

An article on thaboxing voice said the same thing about Heerden/Bundu.

Rrrrright! Rios wasn't in IBF top 15 from Jan-April and showed up at #13 in May out of no where despite his last bout being in Jan.

He said the Gavin fight would happen in 2016. So it was always on the cards regardless, better to get it out the way then. He wasn't to know at the time that Khan would lose his balls and turn down the fight, plus pull out of his IBF eliminator spot.
Van Heereden and Bundu are nowhere near the top of the IBF rankings. Chaves and Alexander are. I'm guessing it will be one of them if they don't fight each other.
Once again, just a desperate rumour started by Khan. And when Khan speaks, the Khanturd worshippers regurgitate what he says like puppets.

Puppet? Looked in the mirror lately?
I'm pretty sure Saddam Ali is fighting Bradley for the WBO strap.
Most likely Chaves or Alexander but don't make either of them seem like amazing fights. Be impartial and remember that Chaves got stopped by Thurman and Alexander lost every round to Khan.
Chaves or Alexander will be his mandatory. The fights are fine and would have to happen at some point. Chaves seems to be the frontrunner. He gave Thurman a tough fighter before being stopped, gave Bradley a tough fight and was beating Rios.

Can we rely on you to acknowledge they are steps in the right direction?
This common opposition is good as it will draw comparisons and further fuel the fire for matches involving Brook/Khan/Thurman in the future.
If its true then it would be an epic match up. :boxing:

He said the same exact stuff about no chance of Gavin happening in 2015.

Last I heard he's fighting Sadam Ali. not sure though.
I'm not denying the card made it PPV - But it's clear they needed a marquee name to make it a credible PPV fight - And Brook was that, even though it was a gimme fight.
Some people said it would be a tricky fight for Brook. But I always knew Gavin would get smashed up good in an easy fight.
It is what it is, not a great fight. But from Brook's point of view, it was good to get out again so shortly after a long injury layoff and low self esteem.
If its true then it would be an epic match up. :boxing:
Brook b*tched out of a Rios fight to go up against Bundu? Okay then.
Chris John 2.0 gonna hold a belt hostage
Yeah believe Frankie Bruno :lol1:
Nothing is suggesting that Bundu or Van Heerden is next for Brook. It has been rebuffed multiple times by his promoter.
Last I heard he is hoping for Pacquiao 3.
Let's wait and see. It may be someone like Bradley...........Skeete. :lol1:
Edit: Selby-Mitchell bouts plus Mr Blessed and Humble Joshua made it ppv worthy. Brook-Gavin was a garbage bout to begin with. Again, good for him he got another win, but nothing to brag about.

might be Van Heerden.
Got Gavin stolen under him and Hearn could play on that.
Also I remember he was getting hype on social media a few days ago about a potential big fight
Bundu is another good one. He went the 12 with Thurman and has been in England before where he beat Gavin.
Yeah except that Porter, Alexander, Chaves, Sadam Ali (is he fighting Bradley?) are all available.
Most likely it will be Chaves or Alexander.

Him and Leonard Bundu are frontrunners for the October fight
Brook started camp 2 days ago
You need to accept Brook is fighting one of these 2 bums...
When Brooks next fight is announced, i will bump the thread where you said Khan was talking ****
might be Van Heerden.

So, who is he left with now that Rios has fallen through. Van Heerden and Bundu. Back to square 1.
No body asked him to get back in so quick with Gavin.
Yeah except that Porter, Alexander, Chaves, Sadam Ali (is he fighting Bradley?) are all available.

nobody asked him :lol1: Jesus what a comment. Considering it was a PPV, I'm pretty sure Eddie Hearn asked him. Also considering he'd just been stabbed etc it made sense to get him out again quickly.
