Come on. It's obvious.
LOL at the Stevenson fans pretending this would be competitive just because Fonfara was competitive with Stevenson.
ah i was thinking
"wow, 33% voted fonfara to win...."
i was expecting like 80-20 haha.

Blatantly obvious. Fonfara knocked down Aducknis doe, so he's gots tuh fight well with Kovalev. But if you simply look at the styles, Aducknis allows fighters to stay around longer than they should due to his slow pace. Fonfara's style wouldn't work vs Kovalev. It'd be similiar to the Cleverly bashing.
And if Kovalev doesnt like the way Fonfara is landing on him?
Then he has a better chance.
I doubt Fonfara will take everything though and keep plowing forward enough the whole fight.
Lol at anyone that thinks this would be competitive. Fonfara doesn't even know how to use his reach, has no defense and fights so straight up he'd be a sitting duck. It just shows how little most people even watch fighters outside of their select few favorite fighters.
I haven't seen many fights from Fonfara apart from the Stevenson, Chavez Jr. and Gabriel Campillo fights.
The Gabriel Campillo fight sticks out as a fight that showcases Fonfara's limitations. He was getting schooled by Campillo for 7 rounds until Campillo just faded hard and Fonfara capitalized. He gave Stevenson a good fight, but he still lost decisively. Apart from a couple rounds late in the fight he was getting battered.
He gets stopped by Kovalev in 5 rounds.
I think Kovalev would win in a war, probably by late stoppage but I wouldn't be surprised if he would decked at some point too.
However I think Beterbiev would mop the floor with Kovalev.
