Guys can you please make an argument on why Floyd needs to prove himself further more

Absolutely nothing left to prove and most know that but it is Mayweather we're talking about. People will criticize no matter what he does, who he fights or how he fights. It is CBS Money, they likely gave him the Green Light to do what ever he wants after making the Pacquiao fight happen which end up being one of the biggest Sporting Events Ever regardless of how it turned out :dunno: So yeah it is absolutely nothing left to prove, however when you're that good...why not finish out strong instead of weak and giving critics more to criticize you about. Instead of Celebrating an Illustrious Career, people are going to be bashing him...then again some people are going to do that anyway so I guess that is probably why he really doesn't care to try and please his critics because he knows he just can't

I've seen him fight good match ups for years almost two decades now. But why stop now with one fight to go? We all want to see floyd get a challenge. It's exciting . I'm no hater of floyd he annoys me sometimes, but like I said before he deserves a bigger last fight than Andre Berto. End the career with a fight fans can get excited about.

I seriously don't understand this sht, it's just not adding up. This 38 year old Floyd Mayweather Jr guy has had nearly TWO FCKIN DECADES OF P4P DOMINANCE, why are you guys acting like fighters that just started making noise recently (GGG, Brook, Thurman, Khan etc) are entitled to having Floyd prove himself against them? it just doesn't make sense. That's like a child calling out his grandpa on stuff, you just dont do that. First you prove yourself and earn the respect, sht doesn't come all of a sudden like that. it takes a lot of years, even Floyd went through that phase. I do understand that these fighters want the paycheck and exposure, but hey, why not work for that sht, make a legacy of your own. If Mayweather looked like Ricky Hatton, he'd already be CONFIRMED as the GOAT. Look at the hype GGG gets. It's unbelievable for a guy that has literally defeated 0 top 25 pound for pound talent. Contrast that with Mayweather who pretty much just beat the consensus #2 pound for pound guy in his last fight, and he beat another top 10 pound for pound talent two years ago when he defeated Canelo.
