As the title says. I think that prime B-Hop should be the one who beat Tito so if that B-Hop was a 168lber how would the fight go? It'd be an absolute eyesore but an interesting matchup. I have B-Hop by a razor thin decision. Poll to follow.
I fancy Bhop for this one I think he could potentially make Ward quit
Bhop lost only to a certain type of fighter tbh and Ward isn't the same type of grade as Calzaghe, Roy Jones Jr, I don't count the J-Taylor losses I thought he edged them.
Ward style is catered for Bhop.
Ward has the better jab by far (important as it could ultimately win it)
Ward has edge in handspeed
Hopkins has better footwork
Hopkins has the better right hand
Ring IQ pretty even
Can see a Hopkins circa Glen Johnson outworking Ward, but can see Ward against Hopkins versus Taylor out pointing him with the jab. A lot depends on how passive or aggressive B-Hop is.
There'd be more holding and hugging than an MMA fight. There would also be more headbutts than punching... I think Hopkins is more hard headed than Andre so I'm going with B-Hop.

Ward has near every tool that Hopkins comes to the table with, yet he's by far the more physically gifted fighter.
Ward wins 8-4, in an ugly fight that he imposes his will on down the stretch.
That's an easy pick for me. Hopkins wins by a wide ud or possibly by KO. Hopkins got a late start in boxing do to his time in jail. By the time he was about 34 years old he had perfected his skills to become nearly unbeatable at 160 pounds. Ward is not any where near as good a fighter as the prime Hopkins in my opinion. Ward is pretty much a one handed fighter as many converted southpaws are. Ward is a good fighter but the prime Hopkins was a great fighter and a master of all the punches with both hands. Ward is bigger but not enough bigger to beat a prime Hopkins. Hopkins was over 40 and well past prime when he lost two very close fights to Taylor. I though Hopkins won both fights. Taylor fought very well in the Hopkins fights but Taylor was never that good again.
That's a hard one to pick for me. I'd favour Hopkins but not by a lot. I think Ward actually uses a lot of the things that Hopkins did when he was coming up and he's faster than Hopkins ever was.
I'm probably leaning the other way now, but I'd still say Hopkins by a very close decision.
I'm gonna go with Ward. B-Hop has always had trouble with quick guys and I think Ward would definitely be able to hang with Bernard on a technical level.
