I did feel that Floyd Bradley will never happen when Floyd visited Bradley in his training camp to wish him luck for his fight against Pacquaio in the rematch..at the same time I did feel that Floyd visited Bradley to know Pacquiao a little better...ask Bradley about his speed/power etc. Surprise surprise! 1 year down the line...the Floyd Pac fight did happen!
Bradley has just never pushed for that fight. He has said himself that Floyd is a serious challenge and insanely good
HBO will put up $2.1M for Bradley-Vargas, but won't out $4M up for Ward-Golovkin. Boo! Boo!
Golovkin weighs around 170 on fight night. Ward weighs around 185 on fight night. You'll dismiss this post because it doesn't fit your agenda. Also, instead of calling for Ward to fight a smaller guy, why not demand for him to move up 3 lbs and fight the top guy in the LHW division?
Bradley has been well paid since he signed with Top Rank. He should get more than Vargas because he is better known and has more accomplishments and unless Vargas proves otherwise he is a better fighter. Arum has taken good care of Bradley and paid him well. I think he should stay with Arum.
It doesn't even make any sense for fighters to face fighters as highly skilled as Ward for their FIRST fight when moving up an entire weight class, career suicide there. Start off by fighting a guy with a pulse at the new weight & then gradually move to better competition.
What you say would be logical for a fighter who is intending to move up a division and stay there. A Ward - GGG fight has always been considered a one off affair where Golovkin would move up for one fight, a big PPV event, and then return to MW. Same thing for the Chavez Jr. fight and the attempt at fighting Froch. This is the reason he will only do this for a PPV quality fight and this is why GGG has a much higher risk to take such a fight. That risk is worth a large payday.
If and when Golovkin decides to make a permanent move to SMW, then yes, your idea of how to make the move makes perfect sense.
Yes he has. Hes done well, deservedly so. Good guy, and always comes to win. Odd he never got a shot at Mayweather.

Ward would demand at least 4 million just for himself to fight GGG. As the A side to the fight, Golovkin would deserve at least the same amount. When adding in the undercard fights and other expenses, it would be at least $10 million to set up a Ward - GGG fight meaning it would have to be PPV.
Not to mention to the usual haters like Pigeon that GGG has always made it very clear that he will not move up or down in weight for anything other than a PPV event. Something that these idiots always choose to ignore.

Honestly, I don't think it's odd at all. Bradley got into the WW picture when Floyd moved to Showtime. Since signing with Top Rank, Bradley has fought mostly other Top Rank fighters. While Floyd wasn't fight any Top Rank fighters at all until Pacquiao.
What's the point in putting up 4m when GGG fights at a weight class below Ward & when Ward is considering moving up to 175 after the Paul Smith fight?

Bradley has made a lot of money in his career.

Top Rank been very nice to Bradley.
They have been, but it's kind of a step down for Bradley to get 1.5m to fight Vargas when he was paid 2m to fight Diego Chaves.
