this is not a good thing, i would much rather people actually pay to go to fights if i was running things
But you arent so why not take the free tickets to a rare fight in Chicago?
Im praying PBC comes to Bay Area. I will jump on anything free to a boxing event.
They have their plan so ill let them work that out. I just wanna see sport.
Then sign me up!!!
And they have been doing this since the beginning so no desperation here.

As of the other day. there were plenty of tickets available. I am getting in with the 1Iota thing, but that might be filled up now.
Even if they say it's sold out, if you want to go head on down to the UIC. I am sure they will open the upper bowl if they have sold enough tickets. I have been to 7-8 boxing cards at UIC, if you show up with 31 bucks you will get in.
It's a great venue with good sightlines.
Curious why $31.
Odd number
I think someone just tweeted Steve Kim that 1iota is sending out emails some last minute tickets.

Might want to try the local radio shows....

@Juancorral63 @steveucnlive they were giving them out here at the radio stations but no one was calling in . No popular names

Likely not; Barcham is simply a hater. Starting to think that Haymon may have done something to someone in his family or something.
If you're in town and thinking about going to the show, look for an affordable ticket and buy it; worse thing that could happen is that you don't buy a ticket, wait for the day of the event, and then end up in a situation where you can't get a comped ticket (or the chance that they simply don't bother to comp tickets to the show).
sidenote: just checked the UIC Pavillion Box Office website and, apparently, it looks like they've just sold out the event. Should check Ticketmaster if you're still looking for seats
Yeah, I was looking the other day and they had tickets for about 40 bucks. I'm gonna scoop one up here in a bit
I recommend going. I have been to everything from Floyd fights at the MGM to local fights on FS1. Fights always have great atmospheres and you can meet other local fight fans as well as fighters. I go to FNF cards in Miami all the time since we don't get the big events and I have seen the Dirrell Brothers, Shawn Porter, Gamboa, Abel Sanchez, Rigondeaux, Antonio Tarver, Andriy Kotelnik, Jameel McCline, Evander Holyfield, Mickey Ward, and several other pro fighters and trainers that are just there to enjoy a good night of boxing.
Even if the main event flops there are usually like 10 fights on the card.
Right! I can't call myself a boxing fan if I've never been to a live event! **** it, I'm going! If nothing else, Beterbiev will put on a show! :boxing:
Even if the freebies are not available, I'd still wait for the night of the fight to try and pick one up somewhere. The way their attendance is going, it shouldn't be that difficult to find free tickets. Do a search on the net and you'll find some local sports store or gym giving them away.

UIC Pavilion's box office is soldout and, looking at the breakdown on Ticketmaster, there are maybe 1,000 tickets remaining on fight week.
Is that really a thing with PBC?!

They don't have any up right now.... think they're moving away from that....
Rolled away from for the Guerrero fight and that was bad.
Now they seem to be doing BoGo's
Ah, sorry for the misinformation then. I should make sure I'm up to date before spouting off.
Seems like plenty of tickets will be available...

Sources in Chicago tell me that PBC is dropping off hundreds of tickets to every #boxing gym for this upcoming card
Yeah, go to 1iota.com. I was was at the Dirrell/Jack card. Got the free tickets from 1iota. They were letting in people who didn't even have tickets printed out.
