Did Cotto KO Geale because of the catchweight, or is he just better?

If Geale was weight drained, I would blame Geale more than the catchweight Clothes or no clothes, 182lb is ridiculous even with no catchweight. That means he left himself go between fights. Plus he's a bit chinny. Geale has been dropped by three fighters in the second round. In other words he was there to collect a check in a fight he had no chance to win because of the weight cut

Jose Cotto could of knocked out Geale tonight. Geale was a zombie collecting a check, win means absolutely nothing.

How can you watch this fight and think it's because of the catchweight? This is obviously Cotto and his teams fault for aski ng, but Cotto out boxed Geale in every aspect. At Middleweight Cotto looks very fast.

He was just better.... It was clearly apparent that cotto had a huge skills advantage... Geal started game and was looking to land downward right hand on cotto, but cotto was just too skilled and wrecked geale to the body them the head... Cotto was clearly the better fighter

because he is a bigger dude man he thought he was gona size him up yea, just like guys used to do to a smaller Pacquiao until they woke up. They're saying on boxnation now about Geale's lack of respect for Cotto. If the smaller guy is faster and hits harder, don't keep pressuring or you get lit up. Geale should've taken his time, boxed a few rounds instead of trying to walk down a sharp Cotto.

Why ask for the catchweight and then threaten to not fight if it didn't make a difference ? The fact is Cotto wouldn't fight a 160lb Geale.

Difficult to say, but I think Geale's tactics were off. Why pressure Cotto early when he's dangerous?
