Khan or a black fighter....Pac and Mosley are the only non latino fighters he's faced in years....that's kinda strange if you ask me
not when you look at the dates floyd chooses to fight on?
"Out of every fighter on that list, Timothy Bradley is truly the only guy that deserves that big payday! His resume speaks for itself. With the exception of Cotto, there is no one who's resume that comes close. A Cotto fight with Floyd would look exactly the same, and probably be easier for Floyd. I think Khan has a style that would give Floyd fits and Thurman has the size, athletic ability, and power to make Floyd work extremely hard. But both lack the experience and championship caliber opponents to pull it off. Once again, its Bradley with all the intangibles and championship experience to give Floyd the most serious challenge. Now, of course that fight will never happen because of the politics and because Tim doesn't have that crossover fan base needed for a big ppv event."
I agree but, as you say, it isn't even a realistic possibility.
Garcia looked horrible against Peterson in the second half of the fight when he was getting out boxed and out punched, enough said there.
Brook fights at a slow pace or tries to slow it down and will hold as much as he can. Two counter punchers do not do a good fight.
The 160 pound title makes things interesting but I don't think that Cotto can do any better than he did the first time.
Maybe, maybe not, but Cotto will at least give him a better fight than the other options.
He just wants to see a brotha get paid.
Btw is there chat? I rewatched the Pac-Floyd on mute and scored it a draw, the commentary and Floyd bumlickery that ensued during and after that fight was a steaming pile of sh1t.
Interesting. Now I'm gonna watch the fight on mute too and score it.
Also I'll bump the nsb radio show thread.
He fought a prime Judah doe.

My personal choices would be:
Brook
Khan
Thurman
Porter/Broner
In that order.
None stand a chance though.
Because to win a round against Mayweather you have to completely dominate him.
I voted Thurman because that should have been made after Broner vs Porter got signed.
But I am okay with Brook being Mayweather's final opponent.
F**K Amir Khan.
Idk, Amir Khan and Kell Brook are the only logical options.
Keith Thurman would be a good choice, but I don't think it'd happen..
So either Khan or Brook.
Why don't you think Mayweather-Thurman will happen?
From that list, I like GGG, Brook and Lara. I'd add Terrance Crawford and Demetrius Andrade. Probably be someone with zero chance of beating Floyd, like Khan or Cotto.
Amir Khan. The rest of the fights on that list will be boring one sided schoolings. The only thing intriguing about Floyd's next fight is can he end his career with a stoppage.
Cotto would be a good fight too but I've seen it already.

This topic needs a sticky for itself because it pops up every few days on the first page. "Who should Floyd fight next?"
Floyd will fight:
A) Danny Garcia
B) Amir Khan
C) Miguel Cotto
D) Kell Brook
E) Keith Thurman
Bradley would be a decent fight but he's with TR so isnt going to happen.
IF (big if) Porter beats Broner (and looks real good - another BIG IF) then he might actually have a chance of getting an invite to the dance.
Brook as a final welter unification would be a nice touch.
Garcia is unified 140 champ and undefeated so why not?
Floyd could go for Cottos 160 title? I think WBC would find some way to sanction it too!!
