I honestly thought this was the case for a while, but I've always been bemused by how much bigger he looks than these guys he's supposedly outweighed by in the region of 10 pounds.
If he only had to sweat 3 pounds to make weight (basically nothing but a hot bath) why did he need an exemption clause for that IV of saline and vitamins? I', not "hating" just genuinely curious. He supposedly was outweighed by Mosley but looked much bigger, Pac he looked much bigger than... list goes on.
Do you think he really only puts on 2-3lbs post weigh in?
Floyd has probably never weighed more than 155 lbs in his life. His 30 day weigh ins have consistently been right around 150 for years. He was the Golden Gloves champion at age 16 at 106 lbs. He then won GG titles at 114 and 125. He boxed in the Olympics at 125.5 at age 19. He's probably not a true welter weight, at 5-8 with his physique, 140 or 135 is probably what most fighters his size would be cutting to.
If he absolutely wanted to be at his peak physically for his whole career he would have never went beyond Light Welter, but he was chasing the money so he had to get bigger quickly. Specifically he was chasing an Oscar fight, Oscar's previous 7 fights were 5 at 154 and 2 at 160. That was remarkable for a guy Floyd's size to take on someone that naturally big.
So Floyd has settled into 147 as his weight, he can train and only need to cut 2 or 3 pounds to make weight, he's definitely turned it into an advantage. But Floyd is really Light Weight.

Hell no. As the poster below you stated, he doesn't post his fight night weights so he can tell people how small he is and how little he rehydrates. People get in the ring with him thinking they are the bigger man only to find out that Floyd has them by 10 pounds or so. In his 30 day weigh ins, he is at 151-152. He only shows his backside for one thing and if he has been training for weeks already at this point you know he has lost at least 5 or more pounds of pure fat if he is training for 6 hours a day as he claims. I say this because he still has small love handles around the 30 day mark. He doesn't show his face for a reason, I think he has sweated down to make 151 over the course of a week and probably really weighs closer to 160 but doesn't want the signs of that to show up in his face.
You don't need saline unless you need to seriously rehydrate or to dilute something else down.....pick your poison I guess.
Unless it's a conspiracy and he's paying off all the people who weigh him he has to be.
What's a couple of extra people when he's got the NSAC, USADA, refs, judges, HBO, Showtime, sparring partners, boxers, ex boxers, boxing analysts, boxing writers etc already on the payroll?
are you stupid?
the guy walks around 150-152 no higher than that..
he is a small guy
and when I say 152 that's after eating
these retards really believe he;'s big are fooling themselves.
he is STILL a small welterweight. STRONG, but physically small.
I saw Floyd in person standing a few feet away a month after the Guerrero fight. He is a tiny dude. 155 is probably his walk-around weight.
See..... someone said 155. Unlike you, I'm don't believe on anything about what Floyd says or post. I'm using my two eyes and I think he's around 155-160 but not more than 160.
Interesting, pictures/video angles can make someone look a lot bigger than they really are. Plus when you're a low bodyfat % you usually look more muscular/bigger without a shirt on than you really are.
When people say he should fight Golovkin, they have no clue how little Floyd actually is. This was three months before he fought Canelo.

He's literally always the same weight. His 30 day weigh ins are always the same as the 3 or 4 fight night weigh-ins he's had since coming back. I don't know how many times people need to see "150" on a scale before they realize he weighs around 150.
*engages Mayweather hate goggles*
Haven't you seen that one pic? He weighed 188 at the 30 day weigh in and clearly doesn't do fight night weigh-ins because he's in the 200s on fight night! He's ducking Wlad!
:lol1: ................
When do they do these fight night weigh ins? In the dressing room? How long before the fight?
Correct.
The 30 day weigh in's I don't know where they get weighed.

Floyd's last fight weight that we know for sure is Maidana 2 (148 lbs), the last fight before that we know for sure is Canelo (150
Lbs) then it's Ortiz (150 lbs)

I think it's just the way he's built. Floyd has an oddly big proportioned upper body for his height. Remember Floyd has a 72" reach and is only 5' 8". If you look at weigh in pics from the De La Hoya fight and compare them to the #48 pics Floyd doesn't seem any bigger now than then. Floyd's last fight night weight that we know for sure was only 150lbs vs Ortiz in 2011. Just because Floyd fights a guy that's shorter than himself doesn't mean that he's 160+ on fight night lol. I've only heard this fight night weight argument used when he schooled Marquez and Pacquiao. Floyd for the 30 day weigh in for the #48 fight was only 150.5lbs. ffs lol.
