Will Khan vs Algieri Be Fight of the Year Candidate?

What do you think, could Khan vs Algieri live up to be a fight of the year candidate? Khan has been in several fights in the past which were fight of the year candidates and he's been in at least one official "Fight of The Year" against Maidana. Algieri was also in a fight of the year candidate against Ruslan! So, could Khan vs Algieri possibly be a fight of the year candidate, if not the actual fight of the year? You decide.

Well the only way it can be is if Khan gets dropped or baldy hurt like in the Maidana fight and it ends up being close on the card. or of course if Khan gets KTFO. I think both scenarios are unlikely so no would be my answer, i expect a dull one sided running, pot shoting and clinch fest UD win for Khan.

I've voted maybe, it just depends what Chris algeri shows up. If he can box out of his skin, on a level never seen of him before, he might make it intriguing over a few rounds. Make no mistake Khan is going to run through this kid, that's the only thing holding it back from being a great fight.

There's always the possibility of drama in any Khan fight due to his recklessness and poor punch resistance, but I'm not sure Algieri poses the pop or counter punching ability to make things interesting. Most likely the fight will be a frustrating cagey affair shot through with bursts of sloppy aggression on the part of Khan leading to a wide decision win. Can't see too many other outcomes.

If Algieri somehow makes Khan do the one two Booty Dew it deserves to be known as the fight of the century.

Little hint, their soft chins and aggressive opponents are the only things that made their past fights exciting. You've got a boxer in Algeri vs a conservative boxer who clinches and bends rules whenever he can get away with it. This is likely going to be frustrating to watch. I can only hope I'm wrong.
