Style wise.
Thurman. Every shot he throws is with bad intentions. I was impressed with the way he beat Guerrero given his injury. He can box from the outside when he needs to, or get you "One Time" :boxing:
Khan. Might be a boring fight, but he has the length and speed to match Mayweather from the outside. IF he has Bayless in there i give him a shot. The way he made Judah quit was impressive, and has been able to stick to his gameplan with Hnter in his corner.
I voted khan...
Khan is one of the most exciting fighters in the world and khan would let his hands go and at least go out on his shield.. N
Khan would be a guaranteed exciting fight...
But they know who Keith Thurman is?
Speaking of traveling Ricky Hatton was one of a kind. PPV sales are what matters the most as any Mayweather fight should sell out MGM regardless and you can bet even those in UK that hate would be buying it.
Yeah much more so than Khan IMO. He also recently fought a pretty exciting scrap on regular TV, and Khan has only been on Cable.
An undefeated Knockout artist is always gonna be an easier sell than an Outboxer who is more known for his mouth and losing his big fights.
Thurman has the higher IQ , power in both hands and moves well on his feet better the anybody Floyd fought ...and is bigger then mayweather a true WW a career WW at that ..
Nobody knows who he is in the US, and his great fanbase hasn't traveled to see him once yet.
Khan is the more interesting matchup between the two because of his length, but both are easy.

Neither please... gimme Cotto @56 or58 or GGG @54 thank you... and for his 50th fight after a year off throw the 48'ers a bone and have him fight 48 again just to shut them up.
Why are these 2 not facing each other??? It makes more senseKhan could have had a Thurman fight any time he wanted. Thurman would love to fight him. Khan and his team are careful and I offer as proof of that his next opponent. Algieri is a soft hitting 140 pounder coming straight off a 120 to 103 six knock down loss to Pacquiao. Algieri can box and take a punch but it's a pretty safe fight for Khan. No way Khan ever fights Thurman. In fairness to Khan he did try to get a fight with Broner who would have been a good opponent. Broner wanted a damn catchweight of 144 and Khan rightfully told him no.
Khan will probably get the fight and the only thing I like about that is the beating and knockout Mayweather will probably give him. Thurman deserves the fight more than Khan and has a much better chance to win. Thurman and Khan both fought Diaz only months apart. Diaz knocked Khan down and lost a close decision. Thurman knocked Diaz out in three one sided rounds. Thurman is an undefeated career welterweight who knocks out almost all his opponents. Khan has been KOed at both 135 and 140 and did not score a knockout in either of his welterweight fights although he did fight well and look impressive. My vote for Mayweather's next opponent is Thurman. My favorite opponent for Mayweather's last fight is GGG at 154 pounds but there is no chance in hell Mayweather would take that fight.

that's what I want to see too, but it's not likely Haymon will put it together anytime soon. i think these two are going to be the guys he milks the most as far as the free TV dates are concerned. so they'll both be protected pretty well. against each other would be a great, 50/50 kind of fight.
yep, the answer is definitely Khan if you want to see a competitive fight. Thurman is too slow to hang with Floyd. The problem is Khan would be even more insufferable if he could somehow find a way to win, so I'd rather he not even get a chance. I really don't even care who Floyd fights though. As much as I am a fan of his, there's nothing left for him to accomplish. 50-0 sounds nice, but who really cares what his next fight is going to be? Neither Khan nor Thurman is exciting.
i think Floyd even beats GGG if they fight (which they won't). too quick on his feet, controls range too well.
Thurman.
He's got speed, strength, stamina, and he's a natural welterweight. Plus, as already mentioned, he's also a lot more unpredictable compared to Khan. I don't get why people say Thurman is "too slow".
They know him way more than Thurman, honestly the only people who know Thurman are the people on these forums. Khan definitely has a more casual fan base following.
Thurman is pretty well-known now since he just fought on free TV. Plus, Showtime has been heavily pushing Thurman's name for over a year now.
I agree. I'd be surprised if Thurman was more well known amongst casual fans than Khan is.
Khan is more known, but for all the wrong reasons. Fights cheap, chinny, mouthy, etc. Keith would work more like an Ortiz in that he's young and ambitious, makes a good build-up for the casuals.
