These three have recently expressed a desire to fight Golovkin, they are all around the same size as Golovkin and will weigh similar to him on fight night, he would outweigh both mayweather and cotto by atleast 20lbs on fight night. What's the deal?? The most feared man in boxing rejecting fights against world class elite challengers
Lara is not a middleweight, he has no title to bring to the party and he is signed to Haymon and cannot fight on HBO. Would you suggest that GGG fight him in a parking lot somewhere?
He can go to 160. Neither does anyone else GGG has been fighting. And I'm sure if HBO offered enough money he could fight on HBO. Lara is not locked in to showtime and I highly doubt if Haymon gives 2 fkes about Lara, he's boring to most casuals And has no fans. Beating GGG would change that.
interesting that one of the "non-credible opponents" that he ghouled in 3 rounds is fighting Cotto for the lineal middlewweight title next month.........
I know it, Cotto should be ashamed! Even more so than GGG
Exactly, nobody wants to fight him.
If Lara want it then they should fight him. Or it will be Tuerano Johnson I guess lol.

and GGG ball washers are NEVER able to provide a single, credible name that GGG has fought. Not 1.
As noted, if GGG wants to be included in the conversation of great fighters, his level of opposition needs a drastic upgrade. He's 33 and doesn't have a top shelf scalp on his belt. TIC TOC

GGG bashers are NEVER able to provide a single, credible name that GGG has ducked. Not 1. They say stupid sh1t like "fight ward doe" even though he's been sidelined for 18 months and now needs 3 tuneups. Never once have I heard of a credible opponent that K2 has avoided, yet these idiots have no problem with Quillin, Cotto, Jacobs, etc who all have 50 excuses each why they wont fight GGG.......

It's obviously Ward's fault that he'll never going to get full-credit for beating Dawson. Typical Ward always looking for an easier fight.
Like pushing to have all his S6 fights in Cali, talking about how Chavez is a tough fight and 5 months later criticizing Froch for trying to fight Chavez instead of a rematch and then recently turns down a chance for an even bigger money rematch with Froch. Or saying Bute needed to prove himself before Andre would fight him, yet he's happy to sign a fight with a clearly shot Kelly Pavlik or say Golovkin is unproven & over-hyped but he's happy to fight him. Or sending an email to be read on HBO calling out Golovkin while he's in legal dispute with his promoter and then immediately after the legal dispute is resolved he insists he's not ready for a big fight and needs tune-ups.
Ward fought Froch in New Jersey. Did you conveniently forget that? There is irony in a Golovkin supporter criticizing Ward's resume.
Any suggestions on the "real fights" GGG fans should be urging him to take?
And btw, he can't "take" a fight unless it's there for him as an option. Which rules out Ward, Froch, Dirrell, DeGale, Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, Jacobs, etc.
Andy Lee might possibly be up for it, but none of the guys I mentioned above are interested in fighting GGG at this point.

No one here is willing to criticize their favorite boxers. It's like a bunch ofchildren talking about comic book heroes. So predictable that a thread talking about Golovkin's poor opposition would be full of excuses and topic derailers like Ward/Dawson. Have some integrity guys. If you like Golovkin, demand he take some real fights and stop pretending no one wants to fight him.

Seriously? If you need to ask why then stop watching boxing.
James Degale? Lol..
Andre ward who hasn't fought in ages.
Lara who I like but doesn't offer anything as far as fanfare if he beats him.
Then there's Floyd who just made $275 million, is undefeated, p4p #1 in the world and a ATG.. And he's smaller which gives GGG an advantage. Come on man...

are you retarded?
why do you think any fighter calls out Floyd?

GGG sees a potential goodboy in Mayweather. U scared bruh.
This is like Marquez moving up to fight Mayweather. Same weight division jump, same age difference.
He told him to stop lying. Nice semantics trick.
Sanchez just stated his opinion that Ward wouldn't last 12 rounds with GGG and dared him to send them an offer to if he wanted the fight. How can an opinion and a challenge be a lie?

People are taking GGG's comments way out of proportion. He just said it would be a dream fight, just like it would be for any fighter. Hell, even Tyson said he would have loved to fight Mayweather if he was the same weight. That just shows how much middleweights and heavyweights respect his skill. That's why GGG said it would be a dream fight, not a realistic fight.
Mayweather should be focusing on welterweights like Pac, Khan, Thurman, Brook, etc. And GGG should be focusing on middleweights like Ward, Canelo, Cotto, Lara, etc. But honestly, I just can't see GGG beating Ward, who is around a similar size and too technically skilled for him (though obviously not as skilled as Mayweather).
So?? LOL Dawson proposed it, Ward accepted. How is that Ward's fault?

You're right. It also means all Ward did was beat a drained as sh*t Dawson. Ward hasn't done sh*t in 5 years, literally. Ward needs GGG more than GGG needs Ward, facts.
That wasn't the topic. GGG needs an opponent who can challenge him if he cares about how he will be viewed historically.
Ward has already done that.
Yeah I remember that. Fighting Ward at 168 was the only way Dawson was going to get that fight.
Skip to 2:20 for Andre's remark on holding Dawson to 168.
So?? LOL Dawson proposed it, Ward accepted. How is that Ward's fault?
