LAst Saturday night, basically everybody (bar a few trouble makers here and there who know who they are), saw Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather fight basically to a draw, despite some rather harsh judging.
In light of the recent facts now, that Manny achieved this with basically one arm, it is entirely plausible by extrapolation that MAnny could have beaten Floyd handily had he been healthy, Manny, who already hurt Floyd several times and especially once really good in the fourth.
Now none of this ought to be interpreted as an excuse, merely one of the most unfortunate events in boxing history. I give credit for Manny's heart to have fought on injured anyway, Floyd would have never done that, but then again, Floyd would have been smart enough to postpone and I am sorry to say that it wasn't all that bright of MAnny and Roach to go in under those circumstances. Of course the Nevada commission DID **** Pac over by not allowing the pain meds but that's past now.
What IS relevant though is that the fight MUST be a rematch.
This win is now for Floyd basically the equivalent of Chris Byrd's win over Vitali Klitschko...
Credit for SURVIVING the fight, but utterly irrelevant as to who the better boxer was!
Fact!
Rematch!
Manny knocked Floyd back with that one left in the 4th round, but he wasn't in serious trouble.
However, that was Manny's chance to get back into the fight. I thought to myself "if any of the old Manny is left in there we're about to find out." Floyd dominated the next round, and that was pretty much it, outside of a few flurries here and there, for the rest of the fight.
Also the statistics (punches thrown/landed) don't match what some of you are saying. It was not close.
Ahhh, the chronic masterbater in residence, stroking himself in public . . . again.
Surely little ElRod must be chaffed raw by now!?
I'd advise you to get the wee member checked for an STI. The gunk that it's spurting out, it just isn't normal.
I can see perfectly well how some of you guys could score for Floyd, sure.
But by no more than 2 rounds.
Basically that's giving all the even rounds to Floyd.
Um because in those 'even' rounds, Mayweather outthrew and outlanded Pacquiao while dictating the pace, thats why. Stop trying to influence opinions , you wont convince anyone, we know what we saw. 9 rounds to 3 or 8 rounds to 4 are the only scorecards that would have been acceptable, and they got it right
In fact I have someone hold the bag for me at the gym and wing shots in similarly to Foreman and everybody stopt to watch me do it. They cannot believe how hard I can hit it, much harder than the weight lifters can. It looks and sounds very similar to Foreman here. It simply isn't special at all!

You scored the fight a draw? Honestly?
Actually I had Mayweather by 2 rounds tops because I was watching it with yankee goggles on, scoring for the defender as I knew that's what would be happening.
The main choking point was the actual scores were an utter farce! Unbelievable.
If you are a fan who scores for the aggressor, then it's plausibly a draw.
Many of the shots Manny pelted Floyd with on the ropes should have been scored really, even if they were partially defended.
Most of the world views it Manny WON the fight which I don't agree with because he did nowhere near enough. Obviously a draw taking FLOYDS side somewhat really.
gotta disagree with you on this one elroy
fight wasnt even close
but i do believe mannys injury is legit because he kept awkwardly backing off when he had floyd in trouble like he had to go poopoo
A draw? I really like Manny Pacquiao but I thought that, at most you could say that he maybe won 4 rounds. The 4th was the only one that he won clearly in my eyes. I personally scored it 117-111.
