It hasnt been announced but it looks like Thurman-Porter & Broner-Judah on NBC June 20
Not sure how reliable the source but I really hope it is true.
Oh god I pray this is true...I would love to see both fights. Broner VS Zab seems like it would be a scrap worth watching, don't care how long its been Zab can go.
Can't Zab just go the fuck away already?
Why does he continue to get big paydays on major networks? Take away the gift decision he got over Matthysse and he hasn't won a fight of substance since the rematch with Cory Spinks a decade ago.
You'd think he'd have been relegated to FNF status after getting his shit pushed in by Baldomir (a guy whose main source of income is selling feather dusters to old ladies) 9 years ago, but boxing apparently just loves throwing money at his under-performing ass.
Thurman and Broner are two of the most protected fighters on the planet. We should be seeing Thurman vs Maidana, Brook or Khan next, but it will be two years, after they have all declined to the level of Zab Judah, before we see him in the ring with one of those guys. Instead, we will be treated to Thurman-Malignaggi after Thurman/Porter.
Broner/Garcia or Broner/Matthysse or even Broner/Peterson should be next. Instead, after Broner/Judah, we will get Broner vs. Rod Salka or Broner vs Thomas Dulorme.
Considering Maidana, Brook, and Khan are the ones who don't want to fight Thurman, how is Thurman being protected?

YES please, i really wanna see Thurman/Porter. That's two top 10 Full fledged welterweights going at it. The winner (wich i think would be Keith) would put himself in line to be Floyd Mayweather Jr's dance partner for his September Showtime PPV extravangaza.
Well I thought he won that fight, but yeah him. What's your point though? Anyone can have an off night. Porter comfortably beat him in the rematch. Look at Brook vs Jones 1, Brook was pushed to the limit. It doesn't mean Jones is anywhere near his level.
Porter is an underrated boxer and won't be easy to beat, like I said I would pick Thurman to edge out a UD but it will be close and competitive.
I think Porter is rated just fine. He was overhyped after beating Malignaggi. He's just not that good. I see a lot of people talk about his power but he was never a power puncher. He's a strong guy, sure, but he's not a strong puncher and he doesn't really have the skills.
Thurman may not stop him, but he definitely beats him comfortably.
There's a reason Kenny Porter didn't want it when Shawn had a belt.
Would love to see Zab kick AB's ass but it ain't happening. Zab is way past his best and a shadow of what he was 10 years ago. He is being used as a steppingstone for AB.
Oh you're probably right, but sometimes that **** backfires...
I'm with you. I wouldn't be shocked if Judah managed to make it competitive or even pull the upset.
War Zab! :boxing:

However, AB is so mediocre I wouldn't be surprised if a washed up Judah still gave him fits.

wowww this is a banging azzz card!! judah is tailor made for broner though low punch output, mental issues, old war torn etc
