FREDDIE ROACH has warned Floyd Mayweather: you can run but you can't hide.
Manny Pacquiao's trainer is confident his man will cause a shock in Saturday's super-fight in Las Vegas.
Mayweather, 38, is regarded as boxing's defensive master and has never been beaten.
But Roach believes he is heading for a fall against his speedy Filipino.
"Mayweather has never came up against anyone with so much speed," he said.

Yes it will.
May not win him the fight. But Mayweather will get hit and hit a lot. If people could avoid Pacquiao's fist, they would. I don't think anyone not named JMM walks into the ring saying "My strategy is to let Pacquiao tee off on my face".
They get hit because they can't avoid it. Pacquiao will likely miss more than he ever has before and Mayweather will likely get hit more than he ever has before.
this thread has some good ones in it.
my thoughts exactly, unless he can nullify pacquiao with tons of running and clinching, he's gonna be hard-pressed to win
I'm surprised he looked more ripped at the weigh in.
He's shorter with similar bodyfat % and less muscle bulk.
That can only mean one thing.
Denser bones.
How long ago was that? Manny has superior foot work to Zab.
Don't get me wrong, Zab is the greatest 4 round fighter ever. I'll call him TBE4
LMAO GOAT 4 round fighter!
lol you guys think floyd will figure pac out what took Marquez 4 fights and even a lucky punch. Floyd has never been in with pacquiao before, nor can he put punches together. He's always adjusting to slower fighters than himself.

Hmmm, well....
It would be nice if all these so called perfect people making their assumptions about Floyd and the way he conducts himself would look at themselves. They aren't as perfect as they want the public to think they are. All this Floyd needs to be this way and Floyd shouldn't say he's better then this person is really annoying. Floyd the salesman of fights is not the same person as Floyd the father or friend. But I honestly know what all the attention about Floyd is all about. None of these people had the skills to back up what Floyd has done in the sport of boxing. Nor do they have the business sense to hire and stay faithful to the people who got them to the point like Floyd. These same people would change if they were in Floyd's shoes. Tyson crying about Floyd not able to walk his kids to school is one of THE dumbest remarks I've heard so far. What does this man kids and him walking them to school have to do with this fight? ??? Coming from a convicted rapist people dont dare bring that question up to Mike's face or any other conversation. But for some reason Floyd's crimes that are a thing of the past or the focus of the man a d not the skills he display in the ring. Even those skills are questioned because he makes it look so easy. I like Floyd the man as well as Floyd the boxer because he knows he's not perfect and except it. It's the people looking from the outside in that are more kf a problem then Floyd could ever be. With that said 48-0 is what May 3rd the man people love to will be. For those who can't deal with it you are more than happy to take one for the team by ending your pathetic little lives something that would truly enhance the popularity of the sport since others won't have to read or listen to your ignorance anymore. .....
Good Post, until the last part about suggesting people off themselves. And spaces creating paragraphs makes for easier reading and up's the chances that fellow bloggers take the time to read your posts.
I know its hard sometimes to not let things get to us, it can get emotional and yes WE ALL sometimes wish people would just "not exist" because they can be so reviling lol.
But lets keep our own humanity and dignity by not crossing the line of becoming what we Hate, easier said than done I know personally myself, just saying...NOT JUDGING YOU, difference.
Even still it was a good post, and I can see you put time in to "critically" think about what you said, and it was intelligent imo, lol.
Positive Karma for you sir, my treat.

Boom :ANYWORD:
And the Maidanas right hand on the bell was so close to the shot Manny stepped into and was lights out , Floyd wobbled and walked back to his corner , Maidana hits harder than JMM , its all relative .
It was almost the exact same punch.and Floyd ate it
Manny has all the attributes that Floyd has struggled against. .except the jab.
Not having a jab will cost Manny because he will have to close the distance by lunging...and this is how Floyd leaping left hook will deck him..
Exactly, what i been saying..you need a jab to get in on Floyd
Who doesn't struggle with speed, quickness, and body punches? Every boxer I ever seen in the ring has problem with these. The thing is, it is the boxers who are able to adapt comes out great. As I said before, this fight will be about adaptability, since each man is going against the best they will ever faced in each other, it will be who can adapt, control the fight, and dictate the terms. To me, Mayweather has the advantage in the adaptability category.

No where near alike in terms of power.

I see where you're trying to go with this but it doesn't add up because it isn't JMM in the ring Saturday. Maidana hits harder than JMM (I don't know how you could possibly know that but we'll go with it). So therefore?
That possibly proves that Floyd could stand up the a shot from JMM. Again, JMM is not fighting Saturday and I doubt he and Floyd will ever fight again.
And the fact that Manny got knocked out by stepping into the same shot that Maidana tagged Floyd with means? Maidana isn't fighting this Saturday.
I think what you're trying to say is that Floyd takes a punch better than Pacquiao but you haven't established a common opponent landing a common shot. Floyd stood up to a punch from someone possibly stronger than JMM. JMM knocked Pacquiao out. But what does that have to do with Floyd's ability to absorb a flurry from Pacquiao. The variable that is entirely left out is Pacquiao's power. Can Floyd stand up to a punch from Manny?
Your scenario doesn't answer that. It only demonstrates that Floyd wouldn't be fazed by a shot from JMM because he shook off a shot from the harder puncher Maidana.
