There needs to be an organization that looks out for a retired boxers well being and can help them out financially.
Is there one for the NFL? most of those guys are bankrupt within 2-3 years of retiring.
I think Bowe is also having some fun with this. I follow him on twitter so hes always tweeting out these funny thoughts. But what do I really know.
Anyway, so far hes done 78 tweets, which totals $1560. Not bad for easy money. He can afford Mayweather-Pacquiao tickets now lol

He probably made around $1000 today for sending some tweets. Might have undersold himself at $20 a piece especially after a bunch of sports sites picked up the story. Good days work

Shannon Briggs has the right idea, but he is actually in good enough shape to continue boxing.
I could only imagine the stipulations behind this. As in do they cover all boxers? I'd think not.
Maybe only world champions? But we have 4 champs in each division.. what about all the other boxers that went broke? Do we look out for steroid cheats? Where would this money come from in such a greedy sport?
No amount of money would make Riddick tweet that one
Hmm...I bet there is a number that Bowe would agree on to do that. That's what being broke is about.

There was an interview I saw back in 2012 where Bowe said this about Lewis. "I don't like you, you don't like me, let's fight, Lennox Lewis is a peanut head." Something like that.

I don't see the harm.... He is being an entrepreneur and if people are willing to pay him 20 bucks a pop, what wrong...
If broner was charging a hundred bucks a pop, you would be paying everyday to tweet a link to one of your countless OFFICIAL threads
Amen! Its good to see him using his noodle actually. Its kind of smart considering that he apparently signs autographs and other memorabelia... It ties into his business
NY rules. Wawa rules. Goldblum rules. But Ned stark was a traitor and JBS is a Curmudgeon. Thats whats up. Bowe— Riddick Bowe (@riddickbowe) April 14, 2015

Bowe fell a long time ago. Remember his weird decision to join the Marines only to flunk out of training after 2 days? Then he went home and beat on his family members for a few years but got off the hook because his lawyer proved he has brain damage. Which I'm sure he does. Sad.
Is anyone surprised Bowe ended up like this?
I mean it is kind of sad, but dude dd kind of throw away his career in his prime and wasted an ass-load of talent. He was THE next great American heavy and he just didn't have that will power to stay at the top.
Some dudes are just destined not to make it, and not much can be done for them because you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink.

I don't use twitter. I don't plan on ever using it, but if the Chargers trade up for Mariota, I might just make an account and vent my frustration.
