Golovkin definitely needs to move up immediately. He's making Floyd look bad. One of Floyd's best wins (Cotto) is ducking the hell out of him. He's stopping Floyd from cherry picking himself a linear MW title. His offer to fight Floyd at 154 is making Floyd's titles there look cherry picked (especially the Canelo CW catchweight one.) He makes Floyd look bad next to guys like Duran or DLH, who jumped up to MW and fought ATG MWs Hagler and Hopkins.
Personally I'd like to see him fight Quillin, Lemieux, Cotto and Lee. Pick up the linear MW title and unify. Fight a Chavez Jr type tune up or two at SMW and then take on Ward.
So a guy fighting tomato cans after tomato cans in his first division is making a fighter who is a five division champ, p4p #1 going to fight p4p #2 look bad ?

I already stated that Froch has the much better resume so no need for you or the other poster to be so redundant. As for what ever else you said it is a bunch of horse 5hit! And why? Who was GGG suppose to fight at middleweight and who will he fight if he moves up to SM?
Froch he is 37 years old and already has one foot in retirement. He has already made it rather clear that he ain't fighting GGG. As for Ward, his next career move is still a huge unknown. So who else is there? I also have to ask have you looked at the top ten of the SM division lately?
The second ranked fighter in the division, King Arthur, is well past his prime and he has spent a career beating up European domestic level fighters. And when he has stepped up he has had his a$$ handed to him every time. So what can that possibly say about the rest of the division?
In my opinion it doesn't say much and at this point in time the top ten of the SM division doesn't look all that different then the middleweight division. In other words its obvious to me that the time of the Super Six in the SM division has long passed on and it hasn't left much in its wake.
Therefore I have no problem with GGG staying at middleweight. That is as long as he stays away from fighting the Willie Monroe's of the world on a regular basis and attempts to unify the belts. If he doesn't do that then I may come back and even agree with you.
I wasn't giving my opinion.
Froch had to fight James DeGale to keep his IBF belt. He didn't and as a consequence he has had to drop his belt. You said Froch hadnt avoided a single fighter at 168. But he has, irrespective of whether it was justified, James DeGale was the mandatory challenger for Froch's belt and Froch vacated rather than face him. That's not an opinion, it's a fact.
Froch is quick to remind people he was Joe Calzaghe's mandatory for the WBC and Calzaghe did the exact same thing, vacated.
Froch was undefeated.
DeGale lost to a guy Froch went on to stop twice.
You're being technical. But i'm saying, there was never any fighter Froch had to fight and he didn't fight him. When I say this, I am talking about fan and media pressure, not ABC mandatory.

This is the silliest logic on the forum. They can't make up their mind. First he's fought no one at 160 yet they want him to fight at 168 before even fighting another title holder at 160. F*cking retards man...
Who cares about 160 titleholders? 160 sucks. That's what GGG supporters can't understand. No one will give him props for beating Cotto or Quillin or Lee. Move up already, MW is trash.
No doubt that Froch has the better resume but six of those that you listed that GGG has fought were ranked in the top ten by Ring when they fought. That and the fact that GGG fights four times a year and wants to unify the division has to count for something.

Who cares if the ring ranked them top 10 in the worst division in boxing right now. His resume is still sh1t compared to Froch.
Do you truly believe Froch hast to fight James DeGale?
DeGale is a good fighter, but fans aren't clamoring for that fight. Fights that fans wanted to see Froch in, happened. Right now, I think fans want to see Froch vs Chavez Jr if he beats Fonfora, and Froch vs Ward II if Chavez Jr doesn't happen.

I don't know when exactly he became a monster, but people started taking about him as such after the Proksa fight, his first fight on US television. Ever since then the myth has grown with each passing fight.

Please, Froch was talking tongue in cheek. You really believe Froch is afraid of GGG? Look at their resume.
Froch: Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Johnson, Kessler 2x, Ward, Bute, Groves 2x.
Look at this sh*t:
GGG: Ouma, Proksa, Rosado, Macklin, Stevens, Geale, Rubio, Murray.
^Wtf?
Froch's resume indicates that if Triple Coward actually campaigned at 168, he'd have been on his resume. There's not one fighter at 168, at no point from 2008-present, that Froch had to fight and he ducked him. Not one fighter, so stop it. The only SMW that Froch never fought was Joe Calzaghe, who him not the other way around.

No one has gone the distance with him since 2008 and the only three fights that did go the distance were 8 rounders. Chances are that if they had been longer fights, they also would have ended in stoppages. When he turned pro, he stopped the first 8 people he fought.
So basically he has always been a monster, it just takes some people longer to notice it than others. And some are still in total denial about it.

He switched trainers. Trainers DO make a difference.
Why doesn't he come up and campaign at 168, buttcrust?

It's called the HBO hype machine. Many fighters have benefited from it, some prove themselves and others never pan out. It remains to be seen with Golovkin.
respectable might be a stretch
Stevens
Rosado
Macklin
Geale
Murray
All those guys are legit, especially geale and Murray.. They aren't hall of famers, but all have been ranked top 10 or even paper Titlists...

What difference does it make? He's willing to come up for Froch and meet him in the UK. Ward for example doesn't wanna fight Froch in the UK, much less go up a division and face a p4per on his home turf
