damn stfu! Usually love this guy but there's a reason this video has 76 dislikes and 52 likes. Dwyer sounds butthurt as hell, must of lost his bet. Kovalev annihilated Pascal stop making excuses
Homie probably salty because he lost money on the dog, should be angrier at Cunningham since I'm sure he out money on tht too.
Funny how we forget kovalev already killed a guy with damage from their fight and we need a reminder like Braydon smith.
I feel him though. That fight was stopped much too early. Pascal was in that fight in my opinion, one big shot right on Kovalev would had ended him. Kovalev face was getting bruised and busted.

How can you be "correct" when it's a matter of opinion? Rounds aren't scored by punch stats, and nor should they be.
I think he was in the fight if he could have kept up his effort from the 5th and 6th rounds, I don't see why that's so objectionable to you (well I do actually but we'll leave that to one side).
punch stats arnt the be all and end all. but with watching the fight, they certainly help. Not once was Kovalev troubled, never on chicken legs. Not once. Kovalev had pascal on chicken legs in rounds, 2,3,4,7,and 8.
With the punch stats, pascal had no chance to get out of round 8 let alone comeback and ko Kovalev.
Admit it you are wrong and move on...
But i am correct.
The punch stats will show that Kovalaev landed equal power punches in those rounds and out worked and out jabbed pascal. Pascal was flashy at best.

it reminded me of froch kessler 2 where froch won the first 4 rounds so convincingly that when kessler improved in rounds 5 and 6, alot of people gave him those rounds. But the reality was kessler simp,y had more sucess, but DIDNT win those rounds and the pu ch stats back me up on that.
Pascal simple hardly one any minute of the fight, and the odd flashy punch which Kovalev often rolled with, does not equate to winning those roounds.
You are looking terrible in the fact that you think a soul destroyed pascal would have or even could have stopped Kovalev...

You're in the minority so...
Edit: just noticed the irony of you being a minority :lol1:

i didnt give Pascal any rounds.
Pascal workrate improved in rounds 5 and 6 and as some people alluded to, it was really his last hurrah and with his explosive athleticism he could occasionally catch Sergey kovalev.
But improving from rounds 1-4 in rounds 5 and 6 does not mean you win them. I bet the punch stats were pretty much in kovalevs favour in rounds 5 and 6.
5 could be debatable, no way in round 6 did pascal win it.
Pascal was RIGHTFULLY stopped, but even with the correct stoppage i doublt he will be the same fighter again....

The question I'd ask is that if he fought even how come most people gave Pascal the 5th and 6th rounds?
Kovalev my second favorite fighter to watch and I wanted him to win but I was getting a little bit worried when he started taking shots from Pascal and missing shots of his own, it seemed like Pascal had somehow turned a corner but couldn't sustain it.
Where you and I part is that I don't view Kovalev as this all-conquering force, I think he has weaknesses, he's beatable. Matthysse is my favorite fighter and I think the same about him, I favor him to beat Provo but I can also see him getting knocked off.

I usually agree with you but I don't get how you seem to have some bias against Kovalev. Pascal basically fought even with Sergey for two rounds, that is some accomplishment? His ass got KO'd twice in 8 rounds.

I told you before and I'll repeat it: Kovalev needed as many rounds as possible with this quality opponent... There is difficult to assess if Kovalev could not finish Pascal earlier of if he simply wanted to test himself...
I think he really wanted to KO Pascal badly. He went the rounds with Hopkins, where I remember you suggested there was some sort of gentleman agreement. Pascal proved more of a test than Hopkins.

There are some people in this world who want another Gerald McClellan or Duk Koo Kim. There's a reason why Pascal came back in the 5th. He got dropped in the final seconds of round 4. Final seconds. He had a more than a minute to recover when he came back in the 5th. In the 8th, there were 2 minutes left on the clock after Kovalev clobbered him twice with right hooks. Pascal wasn't going to knock out shit. They want another boxer who can't wake up twitching his legs.
... It was in the 3rd... and Pascal slowly recovered into the 4th -- as Kovalev chose to carry him...
If Pascal could've kept it up he might've succeeded, he was doing well in the 5th and 6th, Kovalev was missing shots and looking tired himself, but Pascal had no stamina, he blew his load as you say.

Seems to make since that Pascal was going for a late KO knowing that kovalev has barely ever gone 12 rounds. I was wondering why Pascal only was landing power shots and just letting kovalev wale on him. I think by the time of that bs stoppage Kovalev would have kod pascal regardless
According to dwyer everybody beats GGG, Kovalev and Klitchko, thats why he bets against them and as a result lives in a mom's basement, watching boxing with his made in 1998 Hitachi TV.
Didn't he say Shawn Porter would beat GGG too lol, dudes a joke.

He can make somewhat of a case for an early stoppage, but how can anyone make a case that Pascal would have KOed Kovalev?
Pascal's momentum grew in the 5th and carried over a bit to the 6th but after that he was DONE. Those were the two rounds where he could have stopped Kovalev and he failed to capitalize. He blew his load. The 7th round was a whitewash. Then the 8th round was just target practice. Even if he survives that onslaught he really would have nothing left, and it's not like he's a fighter renowned for his great stamina late in fights.

Seriously tho, anybody who really thinks Pascal had a legit chance of winning that fight should have their boxing cards revoked. Forever.
Hell if you leave Pascal in there we're probably in a thread talking about his gotdamn funeral. Pascal took a frightful f**king beating in that fight. That mother**ker was stumbling around like he just tossed back 13 straight shots of Grey Goose. He was f**king done.
