Arreola won yesterday but he looks like a shot fighter I say let the 2 tubbies go at it Andy Ruiz vs vs Arreola. I pick Andy Ruiz to KO Arreola with in 6 rounds
I think he is a classic example of a fighter who has the potential to be something but is never going to shine through and reach his max potential.
I think as a person he seems genuine and loves what he does, and is humble but this is only from what I've seen and read of him. I do not claim to know him personally.
He has had many opportunity to shine and cant pull it off when the time arises. He constantly has weight struggles and it's not that he cant make it to the lower weights because he can and has on a few occasions and looked great physically and in his performance. He even admits he has discipline issues and never blames anyone for his poor performance more than himself.
He is entertaining to watch most of the time, but he only has extreme hi's and extreme lows their are no par performances with him but overall I like him
I think it would be awesome if Arreola did his ring entrance for his next fight in one of those motorized carts fat people ride at the grocery stores.
Just ride that sh*t all the way up to the steps.

I don't mind him but by being in such bad shape he has become the de facto pawn for people with obvious national/racial agendas to use while explaining the "decline of boxing/rise of the NBA" (yes I know there were even fatter HWs back in the day, but they don't).
He is a good fighter and his weight actually is not his biggest flaw in the ring. He lacks patience and falls into traps quite easily. It wasn't like Stiverne was outpacing him with vastly superior stamina, Arreola just started fighting stupid and showing off.
I always admired him, but his dedication of late is that of the worst in his career. It is sort of understandable after the crushing loss last April, but he promised to rededicate himself, something he clearly has not.
His fights are always hugely entertaining and like the dude above said, he is as real as they come. He's very down to earth, mofo be fun to drink with. He just needs to lay off of those tacos.
No, I can't be bothered to watch these sorry excuses for heavyweight boxers that are fighting today. They should just have another division for these fat fcks to compete in and pay them in burgers or something. They are a disgrace to the sport.
He has good fights but I don't like watching love handles of fat flopping around every round.
He is not that fat.
Also, it's boxing... boxers aren't supposed to be pretty... they are not meant to be checked out like that.
