If my Aunt had balls she's be my Uncle...
Im pretty sure that you're right about that, but what does that have to do with the thread? Give your opinion on how much of a shock,or an impact it would be,if floyd loses to manny by ko. And please dont say that its impossible. This is the sport where one punch can change everything.
I would surely be shocked. I was shocked (maybe even sharted a bit) when Shane caught him twice. But that was nothing like seeing Roy and Tyson hit the canvas in those fights.
dont kid urself here. if floyd gets knocked out (although i believe there will be no ko's), that'll be the biggest thing to happen since the end of the year for 1999.
It'd be huge if happened
but it wouldn't be nearly as big upset as RJJ or Tyson losing to Douglas
Tyson was considered invincible back then and Douglas was a random nobody
Pac may be considered the underdog here, but he's still an ATG, fighter of the decade, legit P4Per, and The Man Floyd Fears. So he's a very live underdog
Hmm,good point. But don't you think that Floyd getting KO'd would be a shock, taking into account his long career as a defensive fighter, who barely gets hit clean?

Yes since he's never been knocked down officially.
Floyd is a 3-1 favorite, those fights were like 20-1 (roy) and like almost 50-1 (Tyson) so its no where near the same.

Where would this rank amonst the knockout upsets, like Roy Jones vs tarver 2, mike Tyson vs buster Douglas, and foreman vs moorer?

I don't think any Floyd homer has even considered that possibility. They are confident in Floyd winning. You can dream all you want, but it is not gonna happen.
Fixed it for you. Any Floyd fan knows it is a possibility.

If that happened you could always go with the "lucky punch" excuse. Or maybe "he was winning before the KO." How about "it was the 'roids" excuse.
Those sound familiar?
Yeah they do,but do you think that Floyd fans would go with the same excuses that Pacquiao fans made when Pacquiao lost to Marquez,or would they give credit, where credit is due?

Lol this question is asked literally before every Mayweather fight.
Yeah, but its still a valid question. So,whats your opinion? Btw,you can also say how big it would be if floyd knocks out pacquiao, thats fine too.
Would be huge, I think everyones jaw would go straight through the ground, down to china, continuesly going straight through the polluted stratosphere of China out through space until human finally reached that Kepler planet that seems much like our own. So therefor It'd definitely be good for humanity.
I mean Floyd has never really had a legit KD (maybe the Judah one, but not too bad) and haven't really seen that shook in all of his fights, so I'd say his chin is pretty much granite. Even that 3rd round punch against Maidana didn't put him down.
Pacman is already the best boxer of his generation. Getting KO by Floyd in round one wont change that any more than it will change all the ducking, retireing, comeback, big ass rings and bloves cheats, buying ref. , none of that will change.
Objectively? Come on man. Floyd KO Pac? I'd say the chances of that happening are close to 0%. Floyd wins by trying to look good while running, not by punching. Floyd never was a power puncher, and I there's clearly something wrong with his hands no. He has little power in those punches, it reminds me of Martinez punching with tohse broken hands of his, each punch hurting him as much as his opponent.
that would be awesome for Pac fans and a cause for jubilation, while it will be very devastating for Floyd fans. But Floyd fans will come around it in just a day or two.
Pacquiao will have the bragging rights of being the best boxer/fighter of this generation.. The same goes for Floyd.. That's why this fight is so huge...
It'll be huge but it depends how he KOd him. Was he handing out a thorough beat down then came the KO? Was it a one shot Ko while the fight hadn't turned either way? Or, was he getting beat and landed a HUGe hail Mary KO?
