Roberto "The Salsero" Salsa is a legend bro!
I can't tell if this thread is sarcastic or not. Salka-Garcia was a joke but Salka is a decent boxer at lightweight, not world class or anything but decent and entertaining. Other than the loss to Garcia and his robbery loss to Ricardo Alvarez IMO, he's won all of his fights against opposition since 2013 so I have no problem with his ranking.
WAR Salka.
Remember that thread I made about Rod Salka and half you mofo's said you'd beat him in a fight? Also said he was being mocked when he's a good fighterc I'm happy for him.
Lol Danny should keep knocking bums out to boost their careers and get them on the right direction. If peterson gets KOd he'll suddenly rank top 10 at 147.
That's a great matchup, I would love to see that happen...
If I had my way this would happen, the winner of the brook/khan fight would fight the loser of the Floyd/many fight then those winners would fight.
Agreed.... if those fights are made the way the transnational guys have their rankings I dont see a problem with that.... I still dont like tho that garcia-pederson is 143 smh
The weight is a non issue for me, especially since Haymon isn't focusing on the sanctioning body belts. That said, the lineal 140 title should be on the line.
This IMO is Garcia's last fight as the 140lb titlist win or lose. He moves up then SHowtime has Broner fight for the vacant title against someone-hopefully the winner of Provo/Matts.
Huh?

Danny's glory comes from what he did to Lucas, Khan and Clemmy Morales.
Salka was an exhibition match for the kids abandoned at the border. Danny has a heart of gold. #GiveBack.
Yes. I don't give a **** who is the PBC ww champ. I'd treat it as nothing more than a regional wrestling "world title" from back in the day.
If he were to make fights say on the transitional boxing board rankings, I'd have no problem with that. But he needs to be able to work with ARum.
IMO the next logical fight for Thurman is Bradley to establish who would be next in line for a shot at the lineal title against the Floyd/Manny winner.

And at http://www.f i g h t news.com/rankings-2 Salka isn't he ranked at #15?...
... I saw him there...
Fighting in may. Starting precamp. 130lbs here I come.— Rod Salka (@lightningrod00) March 3, 2015
i think hes gonna go down to 130... but he doesnt know exactly yet who he is fighting
Sure, as long as he emphasises and/or recognises consensus champions even if they don't fight under the PBC banner. That would work perfectly fine, and its a good move.
If Haymon makes some sort of PBC world championship alongside current sanctioning bodies, what a shame. I'm sure youll share that sentiment also

... Where Salka is actually ranked at #15 -- as the initial post here reads...
... then what's new?
