I'm on board for Cotto to end NSB's flavor of the month

This is hard as a cotto fan bc I know he can't beat ggg but I do agree he must fight him if he's not gonna drop the belt.

Okay let's start demanding it, like we did the Mayweather/Pac fight. I'm a Cotto fan and I don't want to see him fight anyone not nicknamed GGG. Come on, do you seriously believe this fun little boxing board called boxing scene had a damn thing to do with the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight getting made? I don't believe that for a second. If there were a million members on here it might seriously influence what fights happen but there just aren't enough members to matter to the promoters or the fighters. I enjoy coming on here and trashing Cotto for not defending his title for over a year and for probably defending it against a welterweight after his year + vacation. But I don't kid myself that Cotto ever reads what I write on here or would give a damn if he did. Cotto will never ever fight GGG and he doesn't care if fans like it or not. Cotto knows as well as anyone that he should defend his title against GGG. He doesn't want to and he doesn't have to so he won't.

Dude it's easy to mock me, do something more productive and come on board and demand the fight. Cotto is my favorite fighter too, but he needs to fight GGG or vacate sooner than later. I wouldn't sh*t on him if he fought GGG and lost he has always been a warrior even in loosing he has always put on some great fights. I like many on here want the best to fight the best, and contrary to what some people here think I don't think it's a mismatch. I strongly believe it will be competitive and Cotto has a good chance of winning. Nothing we can do on here.... even boycotting the next PPV won't help because he'll just fight Mayweather or Canelo next. GGG's not getting the fight and that's just the truth

I've read many articles on El Nuevo Dia newspaper where they have quoted Boxingscene. Hopefully this will inspire Boxingscene writers to report our (the fans) request. But even the Cotto fans have to be on board with this. Cotto may not read message boards but his boy Brian follows everything on social media sites. And I know for a fact many of us have these boxing conversations on other media sites as well. Cotto acts like he doesn't care about fans criticism but he is a proud dude and it ain't hard to get under his skin.
