Last we heard a few weeks ago was Gary Shaw taking back his fighters. Haven't heard a peep from them since.
Are they working on something? What about their Throne Boxing series on FS1? How many fighters are under the promotion? Just Andre Ward and Dusty Hernandez-Harrison? Any more?

a series of unfortunate events for Roc Nation tbh.
First, they enter into the game with Haymon wishing a pox on their company, refusing to do any business with them (even if that would mean dumping a belt). To that, you can also add the fact that Top Rank is basically the primary promoter for HBO and they typically refuse to make fights outside of their company.
With the pool of available talent shrunk to only non-Haymon and non-Top Rank fighters, Ward and Rigondeaux were honestly the only real viable top fighters open to them (from the looks of things, it appears that Caribe continues to price Rigo out of signing with a company). They were able to get Ward.
The Gary Shaw move was almost literally the type of move that Roc Nation desperately needed to make; Gary Shaw brought 20-30 fighters with him, in addition to his experience in putting on fights and scouting fighters.
The hangup seems to have been that Shaw, in exchange for his company, wanted to at least be the operations guy for the boxing division of Roc Nation Sports and RNS wasn't willing to give him that.
Now they're basically back to square one, except now they have a marketable fighter with a good TV relationship (Ward).
String together some shows and opportunities might open up for RNS.
I don't know if they are too late or not but it would not have been much easier for them before because they would have had to compete with GBP and Top Rank in a stronger form.
Now probably is a better time for them to come in because everything is in flux, now it would have been a bit better if they were up and running before this but if they do a good job it can be overcome.
The problem is boxing is a messed up game and one that amateurs should tread very lightly in unless they are prepared to take immense financial loses figuring it out. They need boxing people which is why Shaw was important to them for all his flaws Shaw is a boxing guy and can survive in the game as an outsider.
It will get a lot worse before it gets better for them though.
They have a few problems:
1. Bad timing: Just a horrible time to get into boxing for them..Haymon has all the tv dates on everything except HBO, who has a pretty full schedule full of established stars like GGG, Canelo, Kovalev, Cotto etc.
2. No talent. They have Ward (who isn't really a draw) and thats it. They should focus on getting young prospects, maybe raiding the olympic teams of USA, Mexico, PR, Canada, and England in after the 2016 Olympics and build up for 5 years down the line would be a better idea for them.
3. Other Promoters are pissed at them: Since they came into the game, they have built a lot of ill will by trying to steal fighter's from other promoters.
Yup.
1. What's available right now? Some Mexican T.V channels like Unimas, FS1 (like their last fight) HBO and maybe Showtime, which is has no schedule whatsoever right now.
2. They literally have less than 10 people. Ward, Dusty, Some other guy, a Mexican prospect they just signed and some chinese fighters from Duva.....that's it. Which will be brought up more in the third
3. They spent too much time trying to grab other people's fighters and that just didn't work. They're trying to start out the gate running while tripping other people in a marathon race. They need to start building now instead of trying to take other people's fighters.
They better hope they don't have bad reps forever, because they're new to the game and could get shut out.....but then money talks
They're trying to make an April fight, Ward is rumored.
Looks like they don't know what they're doing.
April's a pretty bad time. Literally every date taken by a major card that month, and evidently April 4th, the Afternoon card wth Stevenson, has Final 4 then or something lke that
With Haymon taking over boxing Rocnation need to sweeten the deal. Rihanna will have to open her legs

Well they had a good thing with Gary shaw but as soon as he took his fighters that put them back to square 1 ..also with haymon making all these big moves I won't be surprised if other campany are holding off deals with roc nation to get a slice if the haymon pie. .........also Andre ward is a great piece to roc stable but only people in boxing (rank etc) hardcord fans know that ward the 2nd P4P fighter casual don't
Wasn't Ward dropped from the p4p for inactivity ? If not he should be .
