Jackel Battle: Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Carl Frampton who wins?

I'm a Frampton fan, and i rate him highly. I'd have to go with Rigo though..the guy is just so good.

Frampton is a very, very good boxer. He has good overall skills across the board and will without a doubt give a good account of himself but........................the guy that he would be facing is a supreme boxer with excellent skills across the board. Rigo wins a decision but I can see Frampton dropping him once and winning on one card. SD for Rigo with the consensus being that Rigo won by 3 rounds.

Frampton pretty good but Rigo would bust him up. He has only punchers chance. You need someone like Pacquiao or Morales to beat Rigo.

overhandrite71 I think Rigo would stop him in the 9 rd. Frampton is an aggressive fighter. Rigo would use that aggressiveness against him.

Would rather see this then Rigo-LSC. Frampton is world class. Really like him offensively. But Rigo gets the UD nod here.

In his defence, he's tiny compared to some fws. He'd be at a major disadvantage, he wouldn't even be able to reach guys like Walters who would also have 15 pounds on him. He'd get killed by him. Donaire was 142 when they fought and Rigo was 126z

I don't think he should move up, but that is only because he has unfinished business at 122lbs. But once the division is cleared out and you have bested your rivals, then move up and test yourself again. Not saying he needs to do that, but that is what a great fighter would do. Hope he gets to fight Quig And Frampton then moves up. Usually I'd agree that once a division is cleaned out, it's time to move on. Not in this case though, he's just too small. Add to that, you have guys like yamanaka right below him and who should move up, along with young guys like Inoue who are leapfrogging whole divisions and should be at 122 within 2 years. By the time the other guys at 122 fight rigo, and those battles have concluded, there will be new faces for him to battle. I don't think he needs to leave.
