I can't see why people wouldn't pay the same amount in a stadium as in the MGM for example. The fight is huge, people would sell their cars for it.

The children of Boxing Scene don't understand economics. It's about dollars, not eyeballs. Mayweather-Maidana had 16K at each fight. And each fight still did more than 2x the live gate revenue than Froch-Groves II which had 80K in attendance. If it was the audience that mattered, they could stage this fight for free at Chicago's Grant Park and over 1M would attend. So what?
