I joked this morning on another forum that they canceled his fight because of a drug test. Come back from work and he failed, lmao. I'm a little surprised at how easy all these MMA guys are failing, they knew the tests were coming and they still don't test them in between fights.

always annoys me when fighters talk trash for no reason. mind games, building up a fight etc comes with the sport but this is none of that. its just lombard being a d!ck, because calling out a man who fights 30lbs south of your weight class is a real d!ck move. funny thing is broner would still take him to school in a boxing ring, he may not have been what he was hyped up to be but he can fight. more importantly there is a big difference in level between boxing and mma as far as striking ability goes. BIG difference. broner would embarrass him.

I completely agree. People who compare an MMA fight to a street fight are retarded. Boxing is proven to work on the streets against multiple opponents. If an MMA fighter tried to beat 2-3 guys on the street they would get their head stomped while on the ground. In a street fight the best is to A - walk away if you can B - end the other guy as fast as you can if you HAVE to fight. That would often be a straight punch, so yeah being a boxer would be a major advantage.

How did you reach that conclusion? Because it's use of "complete" fighting or "real" fighting is nonsense. Can't elbow down, can't knee when a guy is down, can't head butt. Boxing is a "realer" style of fighting given the fact you will see two guys trying to knock each other out but you'll hardly ever see two guys rolling around trying to submit each other.....why? Because it's retarded. The ONLY reason to take someone down is because you can't compete with hands. So if guys like Lara and Floyd are cowards for trying to "box" then taking someone down is just about the biggest ***** move in the world.

Would he say it to his face though... Lombard is an Olympian in Judo, fights at 170 and is built like a tank. I prefer boxing over MMA, but he would ragdoll/maul broner anywhere.

That's just stupid. An MMA fighter is not beating a professional boxer in a boxing match. You don't see them trying to do that either. Size being the main factor no, boxer will always come on top.... Agreed

Who did broner best for all those titles.. Broner was always a paper champ which is about the same as being a bellator champ in mma.. Lombard would knock out broner, you, and urban Meyer in the same night.. In MMA you're not really protected. It is always Super Six every time, so his Bellator title is better than any of Broner's title wins. MMA is not just about belts, but names on your record and Broner only has Demarco. Lombard's Jake Shields non-title win alone surpasses all of Broner's career. Not to mention Lombard is an Olympian and has won many International Judo tournaments including World Championships.
