Is Rigondeaux really boring?

I love all styles of boxing except Lara, that guy makes me sick. He literally runs and does not even engage. As a boxer, he just pisses me off.

No he isn't. He's very entertaining if you like Boxing. The thing is most guys here claim boxing is thier favorite sport but it's actually street fighting.

occassionally he moves too much. Rounds 7-10 vs Donaire and later rounds vs Cordoba I thought he used movement to the point that he became a less effective boxer and was slightly boring. A hangover from his amateur days where once you had a lead fighters would be told to move constantly in the last round to avoid getting caught. For the most part though he is slick counterpuncher with good power. He also almost never clinches or spoils. Far from boring if you like that style of boxing like I do.

ive been bored watching him on occasion, but more importantly, the large majority of the paying public doesnt find him exciting enough to spend time and money to follow his career. some of that responsibility falls on rigos shoulders. i remember when jmm faced the same problem, he took it upon himself to take more chances and create more excitement, and the rest is history.

If you consider someone who averages 30 punches a round boring, then yes

they say he's boring but when people feel his power they just try to survive because if they try to go for the ko they end up getting put on their ass or stopped. plus he doesn't speak english which will be his downfall as only the latinos can understand him.
