Considering that Khan is one of the single nicest guys in the sport, and only speaks when reporters ask him questions do you think NSB ppl who say don't talk are racist?
I think they must be as, anyone who can read knows Khan is one of the classiest guys in the sport.
I also find it amusing that it is Khans fault that bigpoppapump posts 4 different articles discussing the same Khan interview as if he is saying it 4 different times.
I've noticed there is far more free reign for people to rip on Khan's race or religion on here than other races.
The mods seem to care far less about this but they'll ban people for "excessive trolling"....lol. Not that I care enough to get people banned. Just something I've noticed.
I noticed the same with Hamed as well as Khan. You can make a thread saying marquez wasn't juicing and that gets banned or mayweather or pacquiao hate threads get banned. But a thread making reference to Hamed or khan's Pakistani origins or Muslim faith? Find by the mods.
But like the poster above me said it's tricky to defend him sometimes
He comes across as delusional when team Pac already has asked Khan for a fight, and Khan had a signed contract with a Floyd fight?
These are all facts. Other facts are Khan had two belts and defended for two years, and could potentially beat anyone.
At the same time you have someone like Brook who has been targeting Floyd and Pac for the last 5 years, yet Khan is delusional?
Nonsense.
Everyone talks about getting fights they never will, difference is, Khan was genuinely in the running to get those fights. No Khan is realistic and has proven his skills over and over.
No I have no doubt over his skills, I'm one of them who genuinely believe that He can beat both Mayweather and Pacman if given a shot and I don't mind him calling out Mayweather over and over again.
Its just when he says things like ' I can help Mayweather become more popular and I won't fight Brook cause he's too disrespectful' thats where it rubs me off.
You can't defend that.
Dude, what are you talking about? As I said, I am the same ethnicity as Khan, and I find the guy massively irritating - and I completely understand why he rubs so many people up the wrong way.
Amir isn't a malicious guy, he is just so incredibly delusional and self-entitled, and lives in Amir Khan land. He lacks the ability to see things from other people's perspective.
Sure, there is SOME racism - just like there is for black fighters on this site, or non-black fighters.
But ultimately, he catches heat because of his own words and actions.

This should pretty much end the thread
Well, he is huge in the UK. Well, sure he is beloved in Scotland, as the Scotts are the most progressive, least racist, and smartest state in the UK, along with London, so there is no reason they wouldn't love him.
Most of England is just rural poverty. Most of them are backwards and poor.
Khan is quite loved in America. The boxing establishment surely loves him. NSB posters call everyone a bum. Rigo and Andre Ward are bums who never shoulda laced up according to half here.
I can't tell if you're trolling or not. I think scotland is pretty progressive but london is hardly progressive and not all of England is rural or backward. And this is coming from a scot.
No it doesn't happen to anyone else, so repeatedly. Not at all.
Its literally just one racist writer, Chakhovsky, who writes the same stuff about Khan. And he takes things out of context and always adds an exclamation mark!
Personally, I think its obvious bigpoppapump is a racist and has it out for Khan as evidenced by his shameful twitter messages to Khan.
The fact is, Khan speaks because he is spoken to. People annoyed that he is having so much exposure should stop following boxing. Khan will continue to get the coverage. Nothing you can do to change it.
This is the same for a lot of fighters man. Mayweather has a long interview and they post 5 articles from things he said in one interview.
Pacquiao says something and they make 5 articles of what he said.
I just gave you an example of how they did the same for Canelo.
Khan is a popular fighter and like every popular fighter out there the more fans you have the more haters you will also have.
All these thread and posts keep reinforcing the reality that people who baselessly criticize Khan talking must be racist. Still haven't heard a single good reason for such critique.

I. The high price of grain causes much distress in these parts, that is for sure. But they done brought in the Speenhamland System now to help alleviate that, and there's always the workhouse if times get too hard I suppose.
Anyway, back to the fields. Can't sit around chatting all day on these new fangled American inventions. Not least whilst there's a plow to work.
I've met Khan and he's the nicest person you can come across in real life, so I don't think he is arrogant.
He just comes across as bit delusional in his interviews and headlines.

This happens with every interview a popular fighter does though. Canelo in one interview said Cotto/Canelo is the fight the people want to see. Said he wants Cotto to sign and if not he'd be looking at another opponent. And said, he believes 5 de Mayo weekend is the best date for the fight. All from one interview, but they managed to make 3 separate post about it.
It happens.
No it doesn't happen to anyone else, so repeatedly. Not at all.

It's not race with me. With me it's more of a hunger issue. I don't think Khan is hungry enough. He's been on the verge of a Mayweather fight for the last 18 months. Instead of going after it he's tip toeing his way into a shot when he should be going after the baddest fighters out there. That's what urks me about Khan. But he talk a good game doe.
The baddest fighters out there like Berto and Broner!

This is pure racism. This is the point.
Something that you do not have a problem with anyone else, but somehow you invent for Khan?
Tiptoe around? WTF are you talking about? Khan has been fighting at the top level for almost a decade. Had two belts, and defended for two years, and has fought ALL styles. Such a retarded nonsense reason. Either you are big enough to get the big fights, or you are not.
Khan is at fault for Floyd placing him on his list? Retarded.
He fights punchers and boxers, while everyone else sticks to one style. Khan has a better resume then almost anyone else, none of those guys irk you.
Sorry dawg, perhaps you don't realize it, but if that is your only reason, you are racist.
A lot of British seem to hate him. Here in scotland he's pretty well liked but in England I don't know why they hate him. Compared to guys like Eubank jr and saunders Khan doesn't talk as much. I don't really know about America though. A lot of American posters on here have called him eurobum or euro trash before so I don't know. But yeah he doesn't have racial outbursts, doesn't have a racist dad and doesn't blatantly duck or cherry pick.

Two pages pages in and we've had a video of Muslim children and the mention of UKIP. Consider that the first card in the racial poker flop. Expect the appearance of anti-semitism on the turn and full holocaust denial on the river.
Not necessarily, he can come across as arrogant sometimes and that annoys people and that's fair enough
but the out and out haters that just never give him any credit and put him down no matter what, I believe are racially or religiously motivated.
I've noticed quite a few on here definitely are. That absolute obsessed freak alex guinness is certainly one of them.
I can understand why Khan rubs people up the wrong way sometimes though and not because of racial issues.
But make no mistake, Boxingscene chopping up all these Khan articles is completely intentional and it allows certain racists to thrive and have an excuse to spew their bile about Khan.
I've met Khan and he's the nicest person you can come across in real life, so I don't think he is arrogant.
He just comes across as bit delusional in his interviews and headlines.
