he got exposed by a 40 year old italian.
his upside/ceiling need to be re calibrated.
he's not an elite athlete either. you can clearly see that.
In what way? what area of athleticism is he deficient in?
lol you think Quintana is Thurman's best win?
Honestly, I knew you didn't know much about boxing, but this thread has opened my eyes, your knowledge of the sport is worse than I thought.
So what is his best win?
Yet thats Thurmans best win

Thurman is a very good welterweight but it's hard to tell how good because I don't think he has fought a legit top 10 welterweight the way Khan did in fighting 10th ranked Alexander. It might not be his fault if the better welterweights refuse to fight him. Khan thinks he is now this special elite fighter who only Pacquiao and Mayweather are worthy of fighting. But Khan isn't as highly regarded as he thinks and is usually rated between 4th and 7th best welterweight in the world. Khan needs a backup win to his impressive win over the 10 best welterweight in the world. Khan needs a win over a Bradley or a Thurman but he won't do that. Thurman against Bradley would be hard to make because Bradley is with Top Rank. That leaves Porter, Brook, Guerrero and Maidana as top 10 opponents he could fight if Guerrero is still top 10. I hope he fights one of them soon. Thurman should leave 154 alone because that's not his weight and it's a strong weight class. For sure he would get his ass kicked by Lara.
Quintana is a waiter fighter in a club. Let me revise this, Quintana used to be the manager, but got demoted to gate keeper, then just club visitor, and now he needs money he is a waiter in the club.
Yet thats Thurmans best win
Quintana is a club fighter???

Why would Thurman move up?
The welterweight division is super hot
The star at 154 is about to move up to middleweight
Let's make this make sense
Not once did i say he HAD to move up..i only killed the excuses made(that did not even have to be made nor made any sense) I was simply saying the man has options
My god, you're starting to wind me up with your retardation now. You're struggling to understand basic English.
Guys like Brook, Porter, Thurman, Bradley, Alexander etc all started off fighting at higher weights, then cut down in weight, that's just some top 10 welterweights, I can give you plenty of other examples.
The guys Thurman fought at 154 were club fighters, why don't you use some common sense?
Quintana is a club fighter???
Haymon is not a promoter, he had no idea how to guide a fighter to greatness, only sustain it when they are there. Look at the damage he is doing to quillins career.
single fighter?? sorry homie i will bet you anything MORE AND A LOT MORE have moved up instead of down and it is no contest...and to sit here and say " oh he is to small" to move up 7 damn pounds..especially a division he has had more fights in and even got his best win in "Quintana"

No, young fighters move down, D.Garcia, Spence, Porter etc have all done it. Pretty much every young fighter does it. Then when they achieve their goals at their natural weight, they move up. It's pretty basic knowledge to anyone who follows boxing instead of a single fighter.

That is funny man..most MOVE UP not down

lol did you completely ignore the points I made about young fighters slowly moving down in weight as their competition improves Larry?

imagine if before the ortiz fight, maidana was calling to fight floyd at that weigh in. lmao thats about the position that thurman is now. he's calling for mayweather before he has fought anyone with a pulse. before he has even fought someone in a 50-50 fight. hell 60-40.
this clown has TWO divisions to work with and he finds the most obscurest dude in bumdoo. lmao
Well Maidana and Guerrero aren't Floyd, they are just lower top 10 fighters, so they have to fight whoever is put in front of them.
And he's only half-heartedly calling out Floyd, realistically he knows he can't get that fight without a signature win, he's called out everyone in the top 10 including your idol Maidana numerous times.
lol being pro for a long time doesn't give you the right to cherry pick fights. Who have Guerrero and Maidana beat?
Idiots like you keep saying 'who has Thurman beat?' and then defending fighters who aren't fighting him.
