This fighter is something freaking special, jaw dropping footwork, great speed, variety of punch output, defence.
This kid is the real deal, unbelievably talented.
i'd wager even rigondeaux in his second fight would have a tough time with salido, probabley lose also
infact, we hype rigondeaux so much, but all he's beaten is donaire, which everyone admits has trouble with counter-punchers and looks terrible vs anyone who doesn't give him something to counter, and rigo is the strictest counter-puncher i've ever seen(see agbeko fight)
everyone just expected the first time that donair touched him he'd be out, he touched him, but he only touched down
we've yet to see rigondeaux under consistent pressureyou realize that lomachenko has 6 pro fights before fighting as a "professional", right?
Maybe if he'd turned pro after the first gold medal. Started at maybe Bantamweight. Be in his 3rd weight class about now. As it stands he would have to beat Rigondeaux and Walters without losing in the meantime to be in contention.
Judging from the posts -- Expectations here, are pretty lofty for Lomachenko having only four Pro fights under his belt.
I think Lomachenko has a solid boxing foundation and a pretty good skill-set, but I'm not ready to crown an untested prospect. He has a long, hard road ahead of him where he'll eventually face some pretty stiff competition.
I'll re-visit when he's 15 - ? .... Until then, no need to pedestal the dude.:boxing:
Even though you are a racist cunt I have to agree with the premise of the thread. From the moment Loma stepped into a professional ring he was p4p level. He has all the tools to beat everyone in and around his weight class but that's just it, his actual weightclass will hold him back. He can reach top 3 though.
That is annoying as hell. I actually respect Carl Frampton and his team for more or less going on record and saying the guy is too good. I kind of wish more fighters did that instead of leading the fans on and that.
It annoys the hell out of me LSC talking sh*t claiming he isn't scared, will fight him tomorrow and such until it comes down to it & he is quiet as a mouse.
I think the only one who will fight him is Lomachenko (he probably needs a few fights first) but that is the best opponent and the one we all want to see.
Have we actually ever had two double olympic gold medalists fight?
I'm a huge Santa Cruz fan, but he's on the verge of losing me after this pathetic year he just had. It's past time for him to step up.
Everyone of them has gone on paper saying they either aren't ready or have no interest in fighting him. Apart from LSC who constantly calls for the fight, goes quiet and reemerges when Al Haymon serves him up a totally rubbish opponent.
Barry McGuigan said hes too good then went onto say he isn't a draw and the risks outshine the reward.
Jhonny Gonzalez isn't interested

***8220;I have a great deal of respect for Rigondeaux,***8221; said Lomachenko. ***8220;But I need a few more fights before I'm ready for him.***8221;
Scott Quigg has started expressing interest but says he wants to fight LSC & Frampton first in 2015. Then again talk is cheap and none of those fights even look likely.
so its Al HAymon, not LSC. he aint scared of Rigo. same with Vasya, give it some time and we'll see some decent fights. to me Vasya looks way more effective in the ring within his 4 fights, compare to Rigo. give him 3 more fights and he will be ready for Rigo. esp with the way Vasya fights 3-4 times a year, I'm sure it won't be a long wait for Rigo, since he barely fights twice a year
im guessing that's just your opinion, right?) or these champions mentioned that they scared of Rigo?

It's disgraceful. Especially when they run their mouths off about wanting to fight him.
If Loma ends up on top at featherweight, he better fight Rigo if the fight is there to be made.

I see. neither of fighter hypejob. and I hope they both meet at 124, 2nd part of nxt year
yeah.....I like LOMA.....One guy shouldnt be called a hypejob just because his style isnt fan friendly
Its such a shame all the champions at 122 & 126 don't feel he is a hypejob.
Says everything you need to know when you have good fighters like Scott Quigg, LSC, Carl Frampton, Lomachenko, Jhonny Gonzalez wanting no part.
im guessing that's just your opinion, right?) or these champions mentioned that they scared of Rigo?
I don't understand why one guy has to be a hypejob, why can't both guys just be incredible talents?
And I really don't understand how you play one guy down and praise another who has done much, much less thus far.
They're both top notch, neither guy is overrated if anything they're both underrated and both have top 3 P4P level skillsets.
Its such a shame all the champions at 122 & 126 don't feel he is a hypejob.

NO.....u dont understand my post.......He said RIGO is a hypejob...but turns around and says LOMA is future P4P king......you dont see how funny dat sounds

Rigo is a great fighter, excellent technician, definitely top 3 in the sport in that regard. But, he isn't particularly active at the moment and let's be honest, he isn't going to have too much longevity. Loma has 8 years on Rigo, and a more fan friendly style...and I guarantee the guy will be speaking good English before Rigo, meaning he can be a more attractive guy for the US networks for example and will be able to communicate to casuals more.
Basically, yes Rigo has a better resume right now, but that's because he has had more than 3 times as many fights at this point, and got his shot at a real big name for his resume. Loma will be on a similar level probably by the end of 2015. And considering Loma is much younger and will be easier to like for casuals, it is clear that Loma has more chance to be the FUTURE P4P KING...that "future" could be in 5 years time, when Rigo will be almost 40.
I think that's what the OP means with this thread.
see i think LOMA will be p4p fighter.....no arguing that......im just tripping off the fact that he praises LOMA but discredits RIGO....
Thats almost like saying Mikey Garcia is a hypejob but Crawford is future p4p

I think you have to re-read his post and it will turn out that you are a retard after your post) "peeleft:
he clearly said FUTURE, not now) even though I think he won't be p4p #1 just because of weight classes where he will be. give him another 4 years and we'll see.

HYPE JOB is fcking retarted......YOU ready to crown LOMA but you discredit RIGO????
U say RIGO is a hype job....But LOMA biggest win is vs. Gary Russell Jr. Who barely fought....and fought nobodies.......BUT RIGO is a hypejob and Donaire is a bum???????????
